Jace Lennox couldn't be bothered to deal with Lionel Faulkner, who had the mental capacity of a five-year-old, so he turned and went into his room.
Seeing Jace ignore him and go back into the room, Lionel Faulkner was about to explode with anger. He grabbed Phoebe Faulkner's arm, wanting to take her away. "Phoebe, let's go. Let's get out of here. I'll protect you. Don't let this bastard bully you anymore!"
Phoebe Faulkner looked at her brother. He couldn't even stand, yet he was still so protective of her. Her heart filled with a mix of emotions.
"Lionel, let's get you up first." Phoebe Faulkner struggled to help Lionel Faulkner into his wheelchair. "Lionel, listen to me. We can't leave yet. You asked where Mom, Dad, and our older brother went, right? I don't know where Mom and Dad are, but that man... he has news about our brother."
"Lionel, once I get the information about our brother from him, we'll leave this place."
He was missing, with no body to be found.
