"So, you've taken a liking to that girl?"
Preston Keaton coolly set down his pen. "Not at all. She only knows how to make me angry."
Henry Sterling smiled.
'Not to his liking? If he really disliked her, there's no way he'd keep her around.'
He crossed his legs and leisurely drank his coffee, placing an exquisitely wrapped gift on the coffee table.
"I came across a brooch and thought Sophie would love it. Can you give it to her for me? It's her Christmas present this year."
Henry Sterling said with a rakish grin, "So? I'm a better brother to her than you, her actual brother, aren't I?"
Preston Keaton's fingers tapped lightly on the desk, his mind elsewhere. "You are."
