Wyatt Walsh froze for a moment. "Yes, sir."
He exchanged a look with Lucas Miller.
The flowering crabapples throughout the garden were in full, glorious bloom, their fragrance faintly scenting the air. Miss Grant had been so excited for them to open, and now that sir was back, he had thought tonight would be lovely.
'What happened all of a sudden?'
Watching his boss's back disappear from view, Wyatt Walsh shrugged. "Tell the staff not to go near the main house tonight."
Lucas Miller was silent for two seconds, then sighed. "Alright."
He had even prepared hot tea and the pastries Miss Grant liked.
