Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Tour excursion in school (part 2)

The next morning we all woke up early and went to have breakfast. When we reached the dining area, we saw that Sanjib had already arrived. He was sitting quietly, waiting for us. The morning atmosphere was fresh and pleasant. The cool breeze and the gentle sunlight made the day feel very special.

During breakfast, something unexpected happened. Sanjib took out a beautiful red rose. He had secretly picked it from the garden nearby. With a shy smile, he handed the rose to Megha.

Megha looked surprised at first. Then her face lit up with happiness.

"Thank you, Sanjib!" Megha said warmly.

She was so happy that she hugged him in excitement. Sanjib felt a little shy, but his eyes reflected pure joy. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot.

After finishing breakfast, we all got ready to leave for our next destination — the famous Konark Sun Temple. Everyone boarded the bus and sat in their seats. The journey was cheerful and lively. Some students were talking, some were singing songs, while others were looking out the window enjoying the scenic beauty.

As usual, Sanjib was busy talking with Megha. They were chatting non-stop, laughing and teasing each other. However, after some time, Sanjib slowly fell asleep while sitting in his seat.

While sleeping, he began to dream.

In his dream, he saw himself standing on a beautiful sea shore. The golden sand stretched far and wide, and the sound of the waves echoed softly. The sky was clear and the moonlight reflected on the calm sea.

Standing in front of him was Megha.

She looked even more beautiful than usual. The moonlight made her look almost magical.

Sanjib slowly walked toward her. His heart was beating fast. Then he knelt down on one knee and stretched out his hand toward her.

"Will you marry me?" Sanjib asked softly.

Just then, a loud voice interrupted his dream.

"Sanjib! Hey Sanjib! Wake up! We have reached Konark. Aren't you coming to see the temple?"

It was Megha.

Sanjib suddenly woke up. He looked around in confusion, trying to understand where he was. The dream disappeared instantly.

It was around 11 o'clock in the morning when we reached the Konark Sun Temple. But Sanjib was still half asleep.

As soon as he woke up properly, he quickly looked around and asked anxiously,

"Where is Megha?"

"I'm here," Megha replied with a smile. "Come on, get up. We are getting late. Let's go see the temple."

Sanjib hurriedly got ready and joined us. He was still thinking about the dream he had just seen. He realized that everything he saw was only a dream, but somehow it felt very real.

Soon, all of us began exploring the magnificent Konark Sun Temple. The temple was grand and beautiful. Its architecture amazed everyone. The carvings on the walls, the historical structure, and the surrounding gardens made the place look breathtaking.

Sanjib and Megha were especially busy taking selfies together. They were laughing, posing, and capturing every moment.

After walking around for a while, Megha looked around the garden and said,

"This temple garden is really beautiful, isn't it, Sanjib?"

Sanjib smiled and replied softly,

"Yes, it is beautiful. But you are even more beautiful than this."

Megha felt shy hearing that.

"Really? Is that true, Sanjib? You are quite romantic, aren't you?" she said while blushing.

Sanjib also felt embarrassed.

"No… I mean… I was just…"

"Alright, alright," Megha interrupted him playfully. "You don't need to explain. Come on, the bus will leave soon."

"Yes, you are right. Let's hurry," Sanjib said quickly.

After finishing our visit to the temple, we all returned to the bus. Soon the bus started moving again. Our next destination was Chandrabhaga Beach.

In the afternoon, a picnic had been arranged there.

When we reached the beach, Megha became very excited. The vast sea, the cool wind, and the open sky created a wonderful atmosphere.

We all started walking along the sea shore, enjoying the moment.

Suddenly we saw Sanjib bending down near the water. He was picking up some beautiful seashells from the sand. After collecting a few of them, he walked toward Megha and handed them to her.

Megha looked delighted.

"Are you happy, Megha? Do you like them?" Sanjib asked gently.

"Of course! They are very beautiful!" Megha replied happily.

Her smile made Sanjib even happier.

After that, we all enjoyed the picnic together. We played games, took pictures, and laughed a lot. Time passed very quickly.

In the evening, we boarded the bus again and started our journey toward Puri.

By the time we reached Puri, it was already evening. We checked into a hotel and freshened up after the long journey.

Later, we all went out to visit the sea beach.

The night atmosphere at the beach was magical. The cool breeze, the sound of the waves, and the shining moon created a peaceful environment.

As expected, Sanjib and Megha were walking together along the beach.

Sanjib pointed toward the moon and said,

"Look at the moon. It is so beautiful… just like you. And the waves of the sea feel like they are welcoming us."

Megha looked at the sky and the sea and said softly,

"Yes, nature is truly beautiful. God has created such a wonderful world."

After spending some peaceful time at the beach, we all returned to the hotel. We had dinner together and then went to sleep.

However, our dear friend Sanjib was still busy with his "important work" — most probably thinking about Megha and writing something in his diary.

The next morning, we woke up early again. After breakfast, we went back to the beach for another walk.

It was a wonderful morning.

Soon the time came for us to enter the sea water.

At that moment, we remembered something funny — Sanjib was actually afraid of entering the sea.

But love can give courage.

Holding Megha's hand, Sanjib slowly stepped into the water.

The scene was quite interesting to watch.

"No, no! I won't go in. I'm really scared!" Sanjib said nervously.

"I'm here with you. Don't be afraid. Come on," Megha said reassuringly.

At first, Sanjib hesitated a lot. But after a few minutes, he slowly overcame his fear.

Soon he started enjoying the water just like everyone else. We all had a lot of fun playing in the sea.

After spending some time there, we returned to the hotel.

In the afternoon, after lunch, we went to visit the famous Jagannath Temple of Puri.

There, Sanjib and Megha offered prayers together.

We were actually a little surprised.

Because we had never seen Sanjib praying so sincerely before. The boy who rarely showed interest in religious rituals was now offering prayers in such a big temple.

Perhaps love truly changes people.

After finishing the temple visit, we returned to the hotel in the evening.

The next morning, we left for our final destination — Chilika Lake.

At Chilika, we rented two boats and went out into the water.

The experience was unforgettable.

In the middle of the lake, we were lucky enough to see many dolphins jumping and swimming in the water.

Everyone was excited.

"Look at those dolphins! They are so beautiful! I wish I had a dolphin like that," Megha said jokingly.

Sanjib smiled and replied,

"You already do."

Megha looked confused.

"Where?" she asked.

Sanjib looked at her and said softly,

"It's you."

Megha laughed and said,

"Oh really?"

After that, both of them climbed to the roof of the boat. From there they watched the endless beauty of the sea and the sky.

The wind blew gently, and the moment felt peaceful and unforgettable.

Finally, after completing the trip, we began our journey back home.

When we returned home, Sanjib once again sat down with his diary and pen.

For the first time, he wrote down every memory of this beautiful journey with Megha — every smile, every moment, every feeling.
