Chapter 6 - Yuki Tsukishiro: Stop Loitering Outside Like a Maniac

Shinta Uchiha thought this way, and believed this behavior was correct.

However, actually carrying this out wasn't as simple as it looked.

During school hours, as the student sitting behind her, Shinta Uchiha could of course keep his eyes glued to Yuki Tsukishiro's back nonstop.

If he got caught, he could just use "watching the teacher's lecture" as an excuse.

But...what about after school, and on vacation?

Stalking her?

No, no! Absolutely not!

Let alone the fact that this behavior is wrong! Impure! Immoral!

And the risk was way too high. With his current garbage-level tracking skills that weren't even fit for a genin, trying to follow an **Otsutsuki** would get him caught instantly.

"Then, I'll just have to find a way to live near Yuki-san."

"That way, whether it's before or after school, or even monitoring her normally, it'll be super convenient, and it'll make my behavior totally reasonable...Wait a second, where do I live, anyway?"

As Shinta Uchiha thought to himself, he suddenly realized a very serious problem.

Come to think of it...that deserter system *did* say it would set him up with a legal identity in this world.

But it never got around to telling him where he lived, if there was a bank card, and if there was, what the password was!

So, did he just start as a homeless wanderer?

——Hmm, no problem. If he gets hungry, he can just pick up trash to eat!

"Wait, hold on, that makes my whole storyline way too much of a tragic hero! I'm supposed to be protecting everyone, getting hated by everyone, and then fighting to survive while starving and freezing!"

Shinta Uchiha clutched his own head, letting out a small groan.

"..."

Yuki Tsukishiro had absolutely no idea what Shinta Uchiha was talking about.

What did he mean?

How did he turn into a tragic hero again?

"It's fine, it's fine. A hero can't just run away easily! Supporting myself isn't hard. Once I sort out my money and place to stay, maybe things aren't as bad as I thought. If worst comes to worst, I'll get a part-time job, and camp out near Yuki-san's house."

Shinta Uchiha didn't wallow for long. He quickly pulled himself together, and adjusted his plan based on his actual situation.

"?"

Eavesdropping, Yuki Tsukishiro froze slightly.

Why on earth did he want to camp near my house again?

What on earth does this guy mean?

He looks so easy to read, but I have no idea what he's thinking.

This is completely different from Emma and Shiro.

The only thing she could be sure of was...this man had approached her on purpose, with some kind of agenda.

Why?

...

"Main quest to complete next: Monitor the inherently evil **Otsutsuki** Yuki Tsukishiro, and foil her wicked schemes."

"Recipient: Shinta Uchiha, the Uchiha prodigy with over 3000 power in **Naruto mobile** games, who beat Pain, Kakuzu, and even the mad dog...Izuna-senpai."

Shinta Uchiha mimicked the system's voice in his head, giving himself a quest.

The first day of transfer school, and he'd already spent the entire day with Yuki Tsukishiro, comparing himself to L and Light Yagami in a top-tier intellectual battle.

Hmm, since Yuki's name has "Tsuki" (moon), and she's the evil that needs to be corrected, she corresponds to Light Yagami, the God of the Night Moon. And as the righteous Uchiha, Shinta Uchiha has an especially high IQ, so he's the L that symbolizes the light of law.

Also, even though it's only the first day of school.

But...Shinta Uchiha was already certain that his future campus life would be tied to those delinquent **total dumb goldfish** who got stronger the more they got beaten, the **Otsutsuki**, and her two little lackeys.

"Alright, time to move after school."

Shinta Uchiha took the chance to check the deserter system's setup.

First, his identity was perfect. It wouldn't arouse anyone's suspicion, no black household issues.

The deserter system was actually pretty decent. Before it left, it had left a bank card in his school bag, and written his current address on a piece of paper.

There were 30 million yen in the card. Just looking at the number, in the Naruto world, that was already equivalent to the bounty on the **Sandai-sensei**'s son's head.

As for his residence, it was right next door to Yuki Tsukishiro.

The most useful set the deserter system ever gave!

"..."

Yuki Tsukishiro kept her smile, moving her legs wrapped in white stockings toward her apartment. Shinta Uchiha followed silently right beside her.

She didn't open her mouth to ask what he meant.

Because this new transfer student Uchiha was just too weird. Whether it was Yuki the student, or Yuki Tsukishiro the Great Witch, she couldn't figure out how to interact with him.

She only had three options: [Talk], [Kill], [Leave].

"I live over here too. We're neighbors."

On the way, Shinta Uchiha belatedly realized how much he looked like a creepy stalker following a teenage girl. His face turned red, and he coughed to explain.

Yuki Tsukishiro didn't buy this excuse at all.

Until...Shinta Uchiha pulled out a key, and opened the door right next to hers.

He actually lived here?

Then why did he say he wanted to camp near my house earlier?

Yuki Tsukishiro had even less of a clue what kind of person Shinta Uchiha was.

"Hmph."

Shinta Uchiha didn't go inside to rest. He just put the things that would get in his way into his bedroom.

Then, he went outside, leaned against a railing not far away, put on a cold and aloof expression, pretended to be looking at the scenery, and kept his eyes fixed on the entrance of Yuki Tsukishiro's apartment next door, starting his surveillance of the inherently evil **Otsutsuki**.

He thought his current behavior was totally reasonable.

Standing on a walkway, feeling the breeze. It's totally normal behavior, no way anyone would suspect he has ulterior motives!

"?"

Yuki Tsukishiro stared through the door, annoyed, at Shinta Uchiha who was clearly gathering intelligence on her. That smile that never left her face, that doll-like smile, finally cracked.

As expected, even though she didn't understand a lot of things, this weird Uchiha student was deliberately getting close to her.

This was kind of annoying.

Even though she'd decided to observe Shinta Uchiha first before making a decision.

But being pestered at this high intensity for a whole day was still a bit...

Yuki Tsukishiro slowly raised her hand, cast a spell on Shinta Uchiha, trying to get him to go home and stop loitering outside.
