Chapter 4 - chapter 3

.oOo. 4 days later .oOo.

4 days passed, and the group finally reached an island in the East Blue. When they docked, they received strange looks, seeing that no one was present other than the 7 within the massive marine warship.

Assumptions and Rumours rang out through the port city of the island. However, the thought of them being criminals was minimal; this was due to the heroic aura radiated by Lucci subconsciously, which was not enough to influence people and coerce them into submission, but still allowed them to establish a rather good impression.

.oOo.

The group all checked into a hotel without a problem, finding a large room. They settled around the dining room, while Kalifa was preparing tea, then she passed the cups around once she was done.

"So what's the plan, Lucci?" asked Jabra after taking a sip of his tea.

Lucci kept a calm look on his face and opened his mouth, "We wait for the navy to react to our presence and then make a statement, telling the entire world of our new pirate group and our declaration of war against them. Of course, after that, we'll need to make a proper statement to accompany that, something to truly cement ourselves as credible threats. That's why…" spoke Lucci, explaining his plan.

Marine base.

The marine base on the island was not unaware of the arrival of the ship; in fact, the Rear admiral stationed here was informed to expect a ship carrying a group of 7 or a bit more.

Right now, a seaman knocked on the door of the rear admiral, and an answer for him to open was heard.

"Sir, a marine warship just docked, it was carrying 7 individuals, sir," spoke the seaman, who was stationed on the lookout for this very ship, so it was surprising to the rear admiral. The man looked through the documents on his table and looked at the seaman, then grinned.

"Really?" he asked.

"Yes, sir, all the officers are currently keeping watch of the group," spoke the seaman.

"Good, you did well to inform me. Now quickly gather all the officers in the city, tell them to surround their current location, but keep out of sight!" commanded the man to the nervous seaman.

"But, sir, my rank…" started the seaman.

"Don't be foolish, those are world-class criminals; they might not have bounties, but they can threaten the peace of the world! Something like rank does matter in such a situation. Issue my orders, soldier!" shouted the rear admiral.

"Right, sir!" responded the seaman before rushing out.

"AHAHAHA! If I capture those 7, I'll be promoted for sure," spoke the man with a grin before donning his coat and stepping out. "But I can't act rashly, I'll just have to wait for them to separate and deal with them one by one," muttered the man.

.oOo.

"Ahh, so they are in Baterilla. Never would have expected it," muttered a man in a ship that sailed across a chaotic sea.

"Guess we'll have to turn around," spoke the man with a sigh, but then a sinister grin appeared on the man's face. "Yes, that will do," he said with a grin. He pulled out his transponder snail linked to one of the 2 warships behind him.

It rang a few times, then he received a response.

"Captain, Very Good?" asked a voice.

"Ah, Vice Captain Bady, I need you to change course, head to Baterilla, and try to capture Lucci and his group. Make sure to coordinate with the rear admiral present there. Should that prove impossible, tell them this. Very Good will meet you where it all began," spoke Very Good with a sinister grin on his face.

.OoO.

Baterilla

Time passed calmly for Lucci and his friends, and the second week of them being criminals. The training of the group was also coming along well. They were getting used to their new powers. Lucci would even summon a few more lesser spirits to inhabit their souls in order to strengthen said souls.

'It won't be long until I can infuse medium elementals into them,' muttered Lucci calmly as he took a sip from the wine glass in his hands. He was looking out the window calmly, taking note of the marines filling up the area, but he remained calm, knowing that these people would be of use in the near future.

During this time was also training, gaining more insights into his powers and how they worked.

"I can not wait for when the time comes for me to utilise Amageddon; it will be glorious," he muttered.

While he seemed like he was doing nothing, in his mind, he was running simulations and their probable outcomes.

It was a knock on the door that broke him out of the trance. "You may enter." He responded.

The doors opened, and Kalifa walked in. She closed the doors behind her and looked to Lucci, "Preparations are done, sir." She said having taken the secretarial role within the group.

He has tasked Kalifa to get supplies to remodel their ship and deliver a request to the local tailor for a new set of uniforms. He knew it was unnecessary, but he just couldn't shake the urge as a form of habit.

The money came from the heads of the bandits that they took. While they could have sold the devil fruits in their hands, they needed them, and selling them wouldn't yield a good amount at this time.

Lucci stood up, and Harroti landed on his shoulder. "Thank you, Kalifa. Get some rest, the others and I will remodel the ship and deal with the fools that have been surveilling us. It's getting rather annoying." He said.

"Clear Sexual harassment, sir." Spoke the woman, and Lucci smiled before walking away.

.oOo.

Lucci and Kaku arrived at the harbour where their ship was located, along with the others. Kalifa decided to join them as well, saying it was to make sure that the other 3 actually did their jobs.

"This brings back memories." Spoke Kaku as he noticed the vest and black pants worn by Lucci.

"Yes, it does." Spoke Lucci himself before both looked at the paint, wood, nails, sailcloth and other similar items.

"Shall we begin?" asked Lucci.

"Yeah." Responded, Kaku, before both took to action.
