The final bell rang.
Noise erupted through the halls, lockers slamming, voices overlapping, but Caius didn't move. He wasn't rushing home. He wasn't thinking about girls or dominance just yet.
"Three targets progressing. System active. Social influence rising.", chimed the system.
But something Chris Vexthron knew: an isolated leader is a fragile one.
He exhaled slowly. Then turned.
"Ehren. Jason. Brandon.", "Walk with me", he said.
They followed, puzzled but trusting.
The sun hit the courtyard like a reminder: there's a world beyond controlled chaos.
Brandon broke the silence first. "Man… what even happened to you?"
Jason added, "Yeah… you're not the same dude. Not even close."
Ehren adjusted his glasses. "It's not just confidence… it's… everything."
Caius looked at them. For the first time in days, he didn't calculate. He just spoke.
"I got tired of being who I was," he said.
Silence. That hit harder than any system stat or calculated move.
"You ever notice how people treat you based on what you accept?", he asked.
Jason frowned. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," Caius said, "you've been letting others decide who you are. That ends now."
Brandon blinked. "What?"
"I'm not asking," Caius said, eyes sharp. "I'm telling. You're with me, right?"
They nodded. Loyalty wasn't tested. It was chosen. Suddenly the system appeared in front of him and begin to speak.
"System Activation & Circle Elevation"
"Group Analysis Initiated:"
"Ehren: Confidence 32%, Social Awareness High, Assertiveness Low"
"Jason: Confidence 41%, Presence Medium, Discipline Low"

"Activate Circle Elevation", Said Caius as he commanded the system to activate it.
"System Notification: Circle Elevation Active"
"Group Loyalty +12%"
"Influence Over Circle +15%"
"System Surprise: Dominion Store Unlocked"
As he watched his friends follow along, the system pulsed brighter than before.
"System Message: Dominion Store unlocked."
A holographic menu appeared in his vision:

"System Note: Wallet now unlocked."
A small counter appeared: "Wallet Balance: $10,000"
"First deposit awarded for your success so far."
Caius blinked, slightly impressed.
Not just stats and influence, now he had resources.
"System Update: Dominion Points: 250"
"Skill Cards Unlocked"
"Attribute Cards Unlocked"
"Combat Abilities Available"
He turned to Ehren, Jason, and Brandon, letting them settle in.
"First lesson in leadership," he said, voice calm, measured. "You don't just take power, you manage resources. You invest in yourself and your circle."
Jason blinked. "Resources?"
Caius smirked faintly. "You'll see."
He opened the Dominion Store mentally for the first time.
A Strength Card increased his base strength by +5 points for 100 Dominion Points.
Charisma Card boosted social influence +10% for 150 Dominion Points.
Observation Card sharpened perception and reaction speed for 80 points.
Agility Upgrade increased reflexes and speed for 120 points.
Combat Skill: Close Quarters unlocked for 200 points.
The system even allowed him to check his basic natural stats:
Strength: 35
Agility: 42
Alertness: 50
Muscle: 28
Height: 5'11"
Inches/Girth: 7 + Base 3cm
Power: 38
He could now buy incremental upgrades and instantly see improvements in real time.
Caius continued walking with his friends.
"Stop moving like you're unsure," he said.
Jason scoffed lightly. "Easier said than done."
Caius stepped closer. "Because you're thinking too much instead of deciding."
He pointed at Ehren. "You see everything, but you don't act."
Then Jason. "You got presence, but no control."
Then Brandon. "You're loyal, but you hide."
None of them spoke. Because it was true.
Caius softened slightly, not weaker, just intentional.
"I'm not saying that to tear you down," he said. "I'm saying it because I'm about to build you up."
"System Update:"
"Group Loyalty +12%"
"Influence Over Circle +15%"
Jason leaned forward slightly. "So what, what are we supposed to do?"
Caius smirked faintly. "Watch me first. Then copy me."
Brandon laughed nervously. "That simple?"
"No. But it starts there," Caius said.
Ehren spoke quietly. "And after that?"
Caius's eyes sharpened. "After that… you become the version of yourself people don't ignore."
The walk didn't end at the street. It ended at a house, not flashy, not broken. Just real.
Caius paused at the door, sensing the comfort of home. Memory of Chris Vexthron flickered, quiet, peaceful, disciplined.
Inside, Jessica stood in the kitchen, wiping her hands on a towel. Eyes warm, observing, soft but aware.
"You… look different," she said slowly.
Caius didn't answer immediately. Not strategy. Not charm. Just presence.
"I'm good," he said simply.
She studied him. Then nodded. "Good. You got friends over, so act like it. Don't just stand there."
Brandon whispered, "Yo… your mom's cool."
Caius smirked faintly. "Yeah. She is."
"System Notification: Emotional Anchor Detected: Jessica"
"Home Base Established"
"Wallet: $10,000"
"Dominion Store: Active"
Caius leaned back slightly, watching his friends settle in.
Three targets outside. Three allies inside. Two different games. Same goal. Control. And now, resources to back it.
