Albert tore through the factory.
Bam!!!
Thud!!!
Spurt!!!
Splatter!!!
He didn't need to use his guns as he quickly rushed and killed the Yakuza with his bare hands.
"Lancelot, any servants?"
"One is approaching. You should keep your guard up; this one has more bloodlust then Saber."
"Wonderful. These Yakuza have been disappointing to try and show off."
He kept going forward and deeper with in the facility, easily dispatching the cannon fodder around the corner one after the other.
Of course he would eventually arrive at large room filled with wooden boxes, the main storage room.
Standing at the opposite end was Archer, a young woman in Japanese military clothing with gold and a bright red cape flowing behind them.
"Wow!" said Archer looking at Albert. "You look like one of the cryptids!"
Her attitude offsets the passive wandering bloodlust.
From a glance Albert knew she is a Servant who has seen many battles. She has the same kind of confidence Herod has along with several other veterans.
"You…" Albert knew what she was of course. "What are you?"
"I can say the same thing!" she said excitedly. "Hahaha! What is your name!"
"I do not have a name."
"Nameless! What a nice name!"
Her nonchalant attitude kept Albert on edge, even Mélusine was itching to fight.
"Thanks. What's your name?"
Archer grinned.
"IT'S ME! THE GREAT DEMON KING OF THE SIXTH HEAVEN!! ODA!!!" She held her arm out and a matchlock rifle quickly appeared.
Albert can tell only doom lay at the end of that barrel.
"Oh fu—"
"NOBUNAGA!! BANG!!"
It was insanely fast.
Graze!
Thud!!
Albert had dodged out of the bullets path, but it did graze his bodysuit. The bodysuit barely handled the shot.
"Grr!!" Had it been his bare skin he was sure the graze would have torn off a chunk of his flesh.
"Wahahah!! Amazing!" Archer tossed her rifle, and another one appeared. "Your rather quick! That Quirk of yours is tough! But—" Immediately her tone and bloodlust filled the room on a dime. "Wolves need to know their place. Bang!!"
She fired another shot.
This time Albert knew what he was getting himself into and jumped into the air, dodging the bullet.
Oda didn't lose track of him; she simply materialized another gun while tossing the other.
Albert drew Lilith with a speed that surpassed Oda's own materialization of her weapons.
"!?"
Oda was impressed by his speed, but she is confident of her own firepower and aim. Albert pulled the trigger and fired.
Bang~!!!
The sound of the firing was the most crisp, delicate yet powerful.
"Oh~" Nobunaga and Mélusine loved the sound it made.
Nobunaga's match rifle materialized, and she quickly pulled the trigger to just barely match Albert's shot.
Bang!!!
The bullets collide but Oda's bullet was just a bit stronger.
Bam!!!
The bullet hit the wall behind Albert leaving it cracked like a spider-web.
"Well shit." Albert said seeing Oda having more fire power.
Oda's lips curled into a crescent moon.
"Amazing!! What great weapons you possess to match my guns!"
"Not good enough." Albert raised his guns and fired into the ceiling.
Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!!
The power behind the guns and Albert pinpoint accuracy caused the ceiling to start to fall. Archer—Oda Nobunaga was far to dangerous and powerful to fight up against. Everything was telling Albert to run. It was not like he couldn't have Mélusine appear and fight them. It was the fact that he couldn't slip out any information to a Servant who could escape the same way as Saber has.
Information is valuable. Information is power. The one with the most information will be the one to last the longest. So Albert decided today will be his loss, but tomorrow will be a different story.
"You are not getting away!!" Oda materialized more matchlocks and began to fire at Albert.
Albert put his guns away as he ran using his magic circuits.
Thud!! Thud!!
Thud!! Thud!!
He aims his guns and opens fire.
Bang~!!! Bang~!!! Bang~!!!
Bang~!!! Bang~!!! Bang~!!!
Bang~!!! Bang~!!! Bang~!!!
He shoots up the corridor, intending to bring the whole place down.
Rumble!! Rumble!! Rumble!!
BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!
The building began to cave in, and Archer kept firing at Albert. Lucky for him the debris made for good enough cover for him to run away.
'Damn!! Damn!! I need the ball to roll into my court!! I figured Archer would be weak against CQC, but they know where their weakness lies, and the cramp room does me no favors to cover the distance with bullets that fast! I need to have room to hide, to plan, to let Mélusine get the right chance and kill her!!'
"Lancelot, I am sorry but there will be no fighting today." Albert said softly.
"Damn! Damn! I wanted to fight!" Mélusine said peeved.
"I know. I'll buy you two more model kits as a sorry. For now I run. You will get your chance someday."
Albert did not look back; he knew the lay out of this place and he has been cutting corners while still firing and collapsing the base.
Archer had left through a secret tunnel, she used her spirit form to leave the collapsing building.
"Tsk!" She clicked her tongue. "We need to build better buildings that aren't so damn weak."
"What of the intruder, Boss?" said a member of the Shie Hassaikai.
"I let them run. Call it a commander's intuition but I felt danger lingering in the air, like an assassin was nearby, ready to claim my head."
"Then their must be. Your intuition is usually always right."
"Yes…" Archer thinks on Albert as the sounds of a building collapsing rings through the corridor. "But that one… Maybe I should have risked it and gave chase. I cannot help but feel I made a great mistake like the Siege of Mount Hiei, that I made a mistake that will come back to kill me."
Three minutes. Three minutes of nonstop running at top speeds did Albert finally make it to the exit.
'Almost there!!'
As he approached he saw the walls begin to shift.
"!?"
Immediately he leaped towards the exist and held his gun forward.
"Not today!!!"
The exit shifted but right before it was changed Albert fired four rounds into the place it once was.
Bang~!!! Bang~!!! Bang~!!! Bang~!!!
Crash!!!!
Albert made it outside and he soon left the premises. The only time he looked back was when he was two whole buildings away on the rooftops.
"Fuuuu~~" He collected his breath as the base reforms and shifts.
'I need to leave.'
Albert dropped down into the alley and opened up a sewer lid and escaped through there.
Far, high up in the sky, hero sent by the HPSC sees Albert disappear.
"Wow~" he says to himself. "Didn't think he was that good?" he looked to the Shie Hassaikai base that turned into a flat empty lot. A red feather slowly comes towards them and reattaches to their wings, it had been damaged in the collapse. "He sure did tore through that base. Didn't know they had a girl who had a quirk like Nagant mixed with Snipe, she even is a huge fan of Nobunaga… a scary combo."
