Jayjay's POV~
I step out of the bathroom, wrapping a towel around my hair, and walk over to my wardrobe.
My eyes scan the rows of clothes, and I smile when I spot the white sundress I've been eyeing. I slip it on,
feeling the soft fabric brush against my skin, and pair it with some silver hoop earrings and simple sandals.
I let my hair dry naturally, adding a touch of lip gloss to complete the look.
I glance in the mirror and nod proudly at my outfit
I head downstairs, the soft rustle of my sundress the only sound as I make my way to the kitchen.
And then I see him – Keifer, standing by the counter, looking like he just stepped out of a dream.
His eyes meet mine, and for a moment, we're the only two people in the room.
But the spell is quickly broken by a not-so-subtle glare from Aries, who's leaning against the fridge, his arms crossed
. Keifer's eyes flicker to my brother, and he raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement dancing on his lips
I feel a flutter in my chest as Keifer's gaze meets mine, but I try to play it cool. I walk over to the fridge, grabbing a bottle of water, and shoot Aries a "what's your problem" look.
Keifer chuckles, low and smooth, and pushes off from the counter. "Morning, Jay," he says, his voice sending a shiver down my spine. "You look... refreshed."
Aries rolls his eyes, muttering something under his breath, but I ignore him. I'm too busy trying to process the fact that Keifer's actually here, in my kitchen, looking like he belongs there
"Thanks," I say, trying to sound casual. Keifer's standing close, and I can smell his aftershave
Aries pushes off from the fridge. "What's the plan for today?" he asks, clearly trying to change the subject. Keifer's eyes never leave mine, and I feel a spark of tension.
Keifer answers teasingly "just a date, and what will actually happen in it , is a suprise for my girlfriend, so I can't say it out loud right now , brother-in-law"
Aries steps forward, his eyes narrowing. "Keep your hands all to yourself, Keifer, and I'm not your brother-in-law. My sister's no one's wife," he says firmly.
Keifer chuckles, a low, playful sound. "Aw, Aries, you're so cute when you think that I won't touch jay," he says, grinning like an idiot.
Aries glares harder
Keifer laughs, unfazed. "Relax, Aries, I'm behaving," he says, holding up his hands in mock surrender
Aries snorts, clearly unconvinced. "See that you do," he growls, before turning to me. "Jay, I need to talk to you about something."
I raise an eyebrow, intrigued. "What is it?" I ask, walking over to him.
Aries glances at Keifer, then back at me, his expression serious. "Not here," he says, jerking his head towards the living room.
Keifer's eyes sparkle with curiosity, but he says nothing, just leans back against the counter, watching us.
I nod, following Aries into the living room, leaving Keifer to his own devices. As we sit down, I turn to Aries,
"What's going on?"
I lean back on the couch, eyes narrowing. "What's wrong, Aries? You sound like you're about to ground me"
Aries says, "There's a party tonight, and since no one'll be home except us and the maids, I want you to come with me. If you want, you can bring your Keifer," he adds, rolling his eyes at the words 'your Keifer'
"Umm.....you want me to come to a section A's party??!!"
I ask
Aries answers
"It's not exactly a section A party , Freya is hosting the party at her place and it's not that section E is banned, just that Freya didn't invite anyone from there , but she said we can invite them if we want to so yeah , probably Ci-n , Denzel , Calix and maybe some others too will be there"
I nod taking in the words and
I ask "why couldn't you tell me this infront of keifer???"
Aries shoots me a "you know why" look. "Don't be like that, Jay. I didn't wanna make a thing in front of him."
"What thing I don't know" I ask genuinely
Aries sighs, his expression saying it all. "The thing where you get all defensive about Keifer."
"I don't do that!!!" I say
Aries raises an eyebrow, a hint of a smirk on his face. "Sure you don't, Jay"
I roll my eyes and say "alright whatever whatever"
And walk towards keifer and shoot him a look that says 'i'll tell you everything later in the car'
What? It's not my fault that i can't hide something from keifer and besides he already knows everything about me what's the point in Hiding my daily life from him!??
Keifer nods and follows me to tha car as I look back and say bye to Aries and he shoots keifer a look that says
'i have my eyes on you'
And keifer laughs and whispers to me
"Sure he does"
and i laugh with him
