"Ha!" He instantly opened his eyes and saw that, all around him, clocks of different builds and sizes were revolving in a spiral. It was so complicated that it made one dizzy when they looked at it for too long.
This spiral was in some sort of ethereal realm where it was only pitch black darkness.
"Where am I?" Xiao Shen hypothetically blinked and looked around.
The last thing he had remembered was that he was running at near supersonic speeds...
"Ah, f*ck! Don't tell me I died?!" Xiao Shen had the urge to facepalm.
If a car moving at the same speed as he was were to crash, surely the car would become a mangled mess, while driver and passengers inside would die.
If even a car could not make it, then how could his ordinary human body?!
Xiao Shen was slightly regretful, but he was not completely in despair. At least he had felt what it was like to be The Flash!
The thought of having access to all kinds of miraculous abilities through the gifts from his strange livestream was exhilarating.
It was the major reason why he was feeling regretful, even.
Other reasons included the fact that he would most likely never see his family again, never had the study session with Classmate Chun Hua and the fact that he was still a single dog.

He did not know much about strange dimensions, but it was common knowledge that one was not to touch unknown things in unknown places.
And yes, even if the saying meant that one was not to touch unknown things (strange objects) in unknown places (unfamiliar or strange locations such as haunted houses or strange temples), Xiao Shen was pretty sure that unknown things (strangers) would be pretty pissed off and would most likely hand you over to the police uncles if you were to touch them in their 'unknown' places.
Thus the saying was correct!

The clocks all began to spin rapidly once again, but, this time, they were moving backwards!
In his mind's eye, Xiao Shen felt his life flash before his eyes.
A strong falling feeling overtook him, and he could finally feel his body once more.
"Ah... I really am alive..." Xiao Shen squinted his eyes as his eyes accustomed themselves to the sunlight.
Wait, this wind...
He opened his eyes and saw that his body was living at a speed comparable to that of a fighter jet or something!
Like before, the familiar messages popped up once more.

"F—" He did not even get the chance to finish cursing when his body exploded with a bang, splattering blood everywhere!
"—uck!" In the time it took to take a breath, Xiao Shen found himself back in that strange dimension once more.
He stared in silence for a few seconds to calm his wildly beating inexistent heart, and regain his bearings.
"What the f*ck just happened?!!" He blinked hid inexistent eyes in disbelief.
Recalling what had happened, it seemed that he had died from to the speed boosting gifts that he had been gifted!
It was ironic, but, for some reason, having his heart leap while blood was forcefully pumped into his brain was an addictive feeling. That faint lightheaded feeling was something that he had always enjoyed, making him an avid fan of rollercoasters and ferris wheels, motorcycles, and virtually any death seeking endeavor.
'Death-seeking-amol' was more addictive than any drug!
Xiao Shen excitedly reached out his inexistent hands over to a nearby clock, went through the time stopping and reversing stuff, and opened his eyes back in his body.
He was still running at very high speeds that were far faster than the human body was meant to handle!
However, this time, he would try to save himself!
The only drug more addictive than 'Death-seeking-amol' was 'Death-cheating-amol'!
No one wanted to die and no one liked dying either. Sure, people like Xiao Shen enjoyed the rush of adrenaline that came from a near death encounter, but that did not mean that they enjoyed dying!
Thus, Xiao Shen would do anything he could in order to avoid dying!

"...." Xiao Shen pursed his lips as he reached his inexistent hands into the nearest clock. The usual time stopping and reversing process went on like before as he shook his inexistent head.
That was hands down the most idiotic thing he had ever done!
Infact, he could literally hear his brain mocking him:
