"We're screwed," I said, continuing to scroll through the internet for hours endlessly, like someone with no life or job.
But unlike those people, I was doing it for a reason.
Information.
After all, the moment I realized I was in Marvel comics, my heart nearly stopped and everything went black.
Before I came back to my senses.
No simple shock was going to kill me.
This isn't where I die.
After all… I have a dream to achieve.
And it's only possible here—only in a place like this—because I have the unlimited power
The power of the gacha.
With it I'll do anything to achieve my small, tiny dream.
"What could that be, Nagi?" you might ask, my dear reader.
A happy world And becoming a god like being.
That's all.
A small dream… right?
Hell, that isn't a small dream," you might say.
To that, I'd answer: always dream high. Because when you achieve it, there's no peak left to climb—you become the peak itself.
My first goal was simple.
To create a kind of paradise in this world.
As much as I like villains, hurting innocent people was never something I enjoyed. After all, my favorite hero has always been Spider-Man. He inspired me to be a better person.
And my mother raised me to be a good person.
So I will be one.
I'll always try to find a moral solution, rather than just being a jerk.
So I'll become a hero in this world, since I couldn't be one in my previous life. I didn't have any power there.
But here… I do.
I'll try to make this world better than the one I came from—a world where everyone is happier and kinder, where no child dies of starvation, and where I can feel proud of my own work.
I actually have the power to do it now…
As long as I don't become a hypocrite who abandons his own ideals
Becoming a godlike being… well, my real goal is to become something like an outer god.
But…
That's just a side quest for me.
"I think I've completed all the available information on the timeline of this comic universe," my female self said, placing another dot on the wall.
I looked up at the wall, now covered in photos and notes, all connected with lines showing how the story unfolded.
"This is the entire timeline as we know it—everything that was available on the internet," Nagi said, studying the board while balancing a pen on her nose.
I examined it carefully.
We didn't know which timeline or version of Marvel we were in. From what we could tell, this wasn't the movie timeline. The Fantastic Four existed here, which meant this was either one of the main comic timelines… or something far worse, like Marvel Zombies.
From the events of World War II, where Captain America took down Red Skull, to the emergence of the Hulk—
Everything lined up with early Marvel history.
There wasn't much concrete information on mutant organizations like the X-Men, but I already knew they existed. After all, Magneto was real—listed as a terrorist.
And finally, events similar to Iron Man had already taken place.
That told me one very important thing:
The Chitauri invasion…
And Loki's attack—
Hadn't happened yet.
Which meant I still had time.
To train… to acquire more powers before making my superhero appearance.
But not much.
It was 2011.
That meant everything could start within a year.
I needed to grow stronger—fast.
I turned my attention to the system interface, focusing on the assimilation screen:
Name: Nagi SigmaRace: Humans (2)
Character Assimilation:1 – Toji Fushiguro (5%)2 – Fasttrack (1%)3 – Yuu Otosaka (10%)
Powers:
[Tinker – Defence (II)] [Grandmaster Item Construction] [The World]
Equipment Items:
Power Cards (10) Combination Cards (2) Ken Kaneki – First Ghoul Mask Movie Ticket Anime Ticket
"It's risen pretty fast…" I muttered.
"I think it's because we share the same influence," my female self said
"Yeah… that could be the only answer. We didn't even do anything except plan and gather infromation" I said, thinking about how the assimilation process worked.
"Well, we did act like the characters. Both of them are pretty decent planners, right?" my female self said, wobbling her finger as the pen she was balancing fell to the ground.
"Yeah… that could have also influenced the assimilation process."
After all, Toji Fushiguro and Yuu Otosaka had the highest percentages. Maybe it wasn't just physical traits—maybe it was influence too. Toji's instincts, his combat sense… and Yuu's mindset, the way he cared about others.
I let out a sigh.
There was no way to know for sure with such a small sample size.
"Okay… the events are laid out. Now what?" I said, shaking my head as I summoned both the Movie Ticket and the Anime Ticket into my hands.
"So we need to go to a world where we can get various powers, right?" my female self asked.
"Yeah," I nodded, handing her the Anime Ticket. "And it should be a mid-level world—not something insane like comics-level."
I started thinking about worlds where we could gain different abilities while still surviving.
We both tilted our heads, deep in thought, wondering which world would be suitable.
Then—like a light bulb switching on—
"My Hero Academia," she said at the exact same time I said, "The Incredibles."
"Yeah, that world has a variety of powers."
"And they're just continental level," we said at the same time, both wondering why we hadn't realized it sooner.
"Alright then," I said. "I'll jump to The Incredibles, during Bob's era—when heroes were most active. I'll get a super suit made for us there."
"I'll jump during All For One… he's the weak link," she said.
"So that would be during the Bakugo rescue arc," I added.
"Yeah, that makes the most sense. Jump one day back so I can grab the hero powers, and you take what you need," she said—and then we both started laughing at our own genius plan.
"Alright… good luck to me," we said at the same time, before ripping apart the tickets simultaneously to test different conditions.
