The door closed behind them.

Ayaan sat quietly in the corner, watching them.
Aarav stepped forward.
"How long were you planning to hide this?" he demanded.
Ananya crossed her arms.
"As long as it took."
"He's my son, Ananya!"
"You lost that right!" she snapped.
Her voice shook—but her eyes didn't.
Aarav clenched his jaw.
"I didn't even know he existed!"
"And whose fault is that?" she shot back.
The room fell silent.
Heavy.
Painful.
"You didn't trust me," she continued, her voice breaking now."You accused me… insulted me… destroyed everything."
Aarav's anger faded—replaced by something deeper.
Guilt.
"I was wrong," he said quietly.
But Ananya shook her head.
"No. You were cruel."
