The office was silent.
Aarav sat across from the man he never wanted to see again.
Raghav Malhotra.
Relaxed. Confident. Smiling like nothing had ever happened.
"Well, well… Aarav," Raghav said casually."Long time."
Aarav's jaw tightened.
"You should've stayed away."
Raghav chuckled.
"From my business partner? That's a bit harsh."
"You lost that right the day you betrayed me."
The air turned cold.
Raghav leaned forward slightly.
"I didn't betray you," he said calmly."I outplayed you."
Aarav's fists clenched.
"Stay away from Ananya."
The smile on Raghav's face deepened.
"So you found her," he said softly."And the child too…"
Aarav stood up instantly.
"If you go near them—"
"What?" Raghav interrupted, unfazed."You'll destroy me?"
He leaned back in his chair.
"You couldn't even protect your own marriage."
Silence.
Sharp. Cutting.
Aarav's eyes darkened.
"This time… I will."
