Chapter 1 - LET THE GAMES BEGIN.

The hallways of Won Young High reeked of fear and anxiety. Students moved between lockers, their whispers curling like crispy onion rings around every corner.

Vivian Chase leaned against the wall, her long, wavy red hair catching the sunlight. Her eyes, sparkly and blue, scanned the crowd with the stare of a hawk. She didn't just notice people-- She scanned through them like a metal detector. She could sense everyone's weaknesses. It's like she could read their next move. It's pretty scary, huh?

Her younger sister, Lilly-ann Chase, followed a few steps behind her. Clutching a squishy little ball. Looking very...extreme. As if she's walking on eggshells or something.

Near the cafeteria, a group of bullies lingered, their eyes twitching as if something just flew into it. They looked furious.

Vivian's lips made this weird shape--not quite a smile, but enough to kill someone telepathically.

The bell rang. A game had started. Somewhere in Won Young High, the rules were simple: "A dare is a dare. Risk your own safety if you think it's not fair"...Okay. That made zero sense, but let's just say. "A dare is a dare. If you don't do it. You either get injured or beheaded."

Yeah you heard me right. BEHEADED. But anyway let me carry on.

Vivian pushed off the wall, her steps quiet. Very cat-like. If anyone was going to survive this, they'd have to be smart. And smart was definitely Vivian's kind of...thing.

Vivian's gaze sharpened. The bullies laughed, thinking Lilly is too small, timid and weak to fight back. But Vivian knew better. She stepped closer, each movement measured and silent across the hall.

"Hey, watch it.", she said, voice low but still so powerful. The "Regina George " of the bullies--Sienna Rose, turned as her smirk widened.

"Or what?" she sneered.

Vivian tilted her head, letting her eyes flicker over Sienna and her minions. "Or you'll get a taste of my fist."

In a heartbeat, the air shifted. Sienna lunged toward Lilly, but Vivian was faster. Her leg shot out, catching Sienna's arm mid punch. The sound of bones cracking echoed as she threw Sienna, sending her flying into the lockers.

Gasps travelled through the hallway. Other students froze, watching. Vivian didn't even flinch!. Now that's Won Young High's Jackie Chan right there! *giggles*

She moved again--like a lion ready to catch it's prey. Keeping herself between Lilly and the remaining bullies.

"Your timing is awful. Messing with me on a sunny day like this." she said with a calm voice. "Get out of my face or I'll break each of your collarbones. One. By. One."

The bullies hesitated, mocking her. And in that moment. Vivian saw the truth: Fear. Not of her strength alone, but of her mind--how she always seemed two steps ahead, predicting every move before they even thought of it. Lilly exhaled as the bullies decided to leave. Clutching the life out of that squishy ball, relief washing over her face. Vivian's lips curved slightly, not a smile, but acknowledgement. This was only the beginning. Somewhere, hidden beneath the hallways of Won Young High, a game was unfolding--and Vivian Chase intended to win.

By the time the last bell rang, the hallways had emptied into classrooms, leaving a quieter, tense atmosphere. But for Vivian, silence didn't mean safety--it meant opportunity. She knew the game had only just begun.

Across the school, hidden in the gym, a group of students gathered, forming the starting circle for what everyone whispered about but no one openly named: THE TRIANGLE GAME. It wasn't just a game--It was a test. A challenge where mistakes left marks.

Vivian stepped closer, her hands soft against the wall. She scanned the circle. memorising faces, noting patterns and strange behaviour, calculating the smallest advantages. A flicker of movement caught her eye--Scarlet Johansson. Trying to hide. Typical. Easy to predict.

A voice rang out, sharp and commanding, echoing off the walls. "Welcome," it said. "Everyone knows the rules. Fail… and pay the price."

Vivian's lips curved slightly. The "price" wasn't vague; she'd seen broken bones, bruises and whispered threats before. But fear didn't cloud her mind—it sharpened it. Every second, every step ,became part of a pattern she could read.

From her vantage point near the bleachers, Vivian noticed a trap: a loose tile, the perfect place to stumble and fall. She filed it away in her mind. Later, she could use it.

The circle began to shift, students moving like chess pieces,Vivian's heart beat steady and slow, but her mind raced. She didn't need brute strength alone; she had strategy, speed and precision.

Somewhere in the shadows, hidden eyes watched, waiting for the first mistake.

Vivian Chase made sure she wouldn't make one.

Not today. Not ever.

And then the game truly began.
