Chapter 24 - The Final Truth

Aarya stepped back slowly.

Her mind refusing to accept it.

"No…"

Her voice barely came out.

"No… this isn't possible…"

Kabir walked toward her.

Calm.

Steady.

Every step filled with something… heavier than before.

"You broke the only chain…" the entity said softly.

"…that kept me incomplete."

Aarya's eyes widened.

Her chest tightened.

Incomplete…?

"That bond…" it continued,

"…was limiting me."

Silence.

Each word hit harder than the last.

"And you…"

It smiled.

"…set me free."

Aarya shook her head.

Tears falling again.

"I was trying to save him…"

The entity stopped in front of her.

Looking directly into her eyes.

"And now he's gone."

Those words—

Cut deeper than anything else.

Aarya's breathing became uneven.

"No… he's still there…"

Her voice weak.

But stubborn.

"I know he is…"

The entity observed her quietly.

Then—

It laughed.

Not loudly.

Not wildly.

Just… amused.

"Hope is such a fragile thing."

Aarya clenched her fists.

Anger mixing with pain now.

"He's not gone."

Her voice stronger this time.

"I can feel it."

Silence.

For a brief moment—

Something changed.

Something small.

But real.

The entity's expression flickered.

Just for a second.

Aarya noticed.

And stepped forward.

"You said I created you, right?"

Her voice steadier now.

The entity didn't answer.

But it didn't deny it either.

Aarya took another step.

"Then that means…"

Her eyes locked onto his.

"…I can end you too."

The air shifted.

Tension rising instantly.

The entity smiled again.

But this time—

There was interest in it.

"Try."

Aarya raised her hand slowly.

But this time—

Not with fear.

Not with hesitation.

With understanding.

Because now she realized—

This wasn't just about fighting the darkness.

This was about facing herself.

Her fears.

Her past.

Her truth.

And she wasn't running anymore.

Chapter 24 Suspense (Cliffhanger):

As Aarya's energy began to gather—

The ground beneath them cracked again.

But this time—

It wasn't because of Kabir.

It was something else.

Something bigger.

A deep rumbling echoed from the abandoned building nearby.

Aarya and the entity both turned—

At the same time.

Because they felt it.

A new presence.

Ancient.

Powerful.

And far more dangerous than the one inside Kabir.

A deep voice echoed from the distance—

"So… you finally broke the seal."

Aarya's eyes widened in shock.

Because that voice—

Didn't belong to Kabir.

Didn't belong to the entity.

It belonged to something else.

Something that had been waiting…

For a very long time.

And now—

It was awake.
