Anderson returned home with a smile on his face. As he stepped into the front porch, he stopped in his tracks.
He patted his breast pocket, and the smile on his face widened.
When he finally walked in, he was stopped by Cassie.
"You are all smiles, Mr Vance." She commented. "Did you win the lottery?"
Anderson chuckled. "Maybe I did. Who knows?" He shrugged, joking with her as well.
Cassie's expression softened. It has been a long time since she saw a bright smile on Anderson's face. She knew it was related to Rebecca, and she hoped this wouldn't change.
She didn't want Anderson to plunge into his brooding state again. If Rebecca so much reverts to her old state... then Anderson... he'd break.
"Where is Becca?" Anderson asked, snapping her out of her thoughts.
