"Damn it,what do I do ?" Elsie kept staring at Alex.She felt tempted to ask him what was wrong but remembering they only met some minutes ago she kept shut.
"Elsie, I know what I'm about to say now may not make any sense but do you want to get married?". She stared at Alex with widened eyes like he had grown two heads. "Huh?What do you mean by get married??". "I know you might be confused about what I just said but I have an offer for you".
He offered her a job that can pay her a million dollars if she agreed to get married to his boss.She would be his wife for two and a half years afterwards they'll divorce and pretend they don't know each other.
"Does he molest women?"."Huh? No,he doesn't".Elsie thought about it,she only had 5 more years to live. Since he doesn't assault women she was safe.She would just stay away from him and speak to him only when necessary.
"I only have about five years to live,it won't hurt to be his wife for 2 years and after we divorce, I can donate the money to those children in orphanage homes at least, they can have a good life" She was deep in thought when Alex snapped his fingers at her face.
"So what do you say?". Alex asked her. " I accept" From the way the voice spoke from the phone,it seemed like the boss was a cold person. "There are rules you have to follow through out the period of time you'll be married to him" He handed her a document. She opened it and saw Party A and Party B.

1. Party B must not invade Party A's privacy and interfere his matters.
2. Party B is only a wife in public and must not do anything to tarnish Party A's image.
3. Party B must not fall in love with Party A.
The last rule played repeatedly in Elsie's mind. She was in support of them not falling in love since she was going to be dying soon and she didn't want anyone to be in pain or grief because of her and it would help them to part easily.
She looked at the space where she was to sign.She put in her signature and stared at the contract again. She was married. It seemed funny to her that she was all alone with no family some hours ago and now she was married.She chuckled and returned the document to Alex.
"Let's get going then". "But what about my things?" Elsie asked. " I'll come back to pick them" ."Ohh okay" She made a mental note to give him her address later.
Alex filled her on some information during the drive.He was the personal assistant of her new husband whose name is Leonard Millers ,the President of Millers Corporation.
"Leonard Millers" The name rang in Elsie's head.Her husband turned out to be the CEO of the mighty Millers Corporation who dominated the business world. "No wonder he spoke like that on the phone" She thought. For someone who controlled so much power and wealth,it was normal that he spoke like the world was under him. What was she even saying,the business world WAS under him.
