Lucan stopped walking as he heard that line. He turned around and smiled at him gently. Blue guy was gazing at fate guy.
Pink girl asked, ''Fate guy! Are you kidding like blue guy? Lucan means it seriously!''
Fate guy had very little lifespan remaining. Earlier, while Lucan was deducing on lord's planet, he had converted his life energy into cosmic energy for Lucan's deductions.
After making such a sacrifice, fate guy would never leave Lucan's side at any cost. Moreover, Lucan had also saved his life.
Lucan grinned as he said, ''Fate guy isn't kidding! He is saying this with utmost seriousness, hehe! But he forgot to say one more thing?''
Fate guy laughed as he replied, ''Okay, okay, I get it. I will no longer act funny or try to make myself look dumb!''
Blue guy and pink girl were both shocked to know this truth.
Blue guy asked, ''Lucan, how did you find out he was acting? Are you invincible?''
Lucan shook his head in disagreement as he replied, ''No, I didn't know that he was actually acting either, hehe! Me, invincible? If that had been the case, why would I have failed this many times?''
As he said that, his eyes shifted towards fate guy.
Fate guy slowly walked closer to Lucan and whispered, ''I have some secrets! They are truly valuab-''
Lucan transmitted, ''Yeah, I already know them.''
Fate guy retreated backward. His eyes widened as he froze in disbelief.
He thought, ''How? How did this guy find it out!? Even I only remembered it a few moments ago!''
Lucan transmitted, ''Don't talk about it now! Later. This is a very important matter which can never be exposed.''
He transmitted back, ''Agreed! But how did you find it out? Even I just found it out now!''
Lucan's gaze turned sharp as he thought:
''What? He found it out just now?
Wait, does that mean his memories were altered? Who did it, and why? Now is not the time to think about this.''
Seeing these two remain quiet for a long time, blue guy asked, ''Lucan, you found out something, right?''
His gaze shifted... eyes twitched... thoughts swirled.
Lucan replied, ''Of course not! Hehe! It is just that he said he knows the location of a crystal!''
Blue guy replied, ''What? You mean like the one lord had?''
Fate guy pondered inwardly.
''Wait! Lucan knows me better than I do! So what he said must be true.''
He nodded his head and replied, ''Yep! We know where it is!''
Lucan transmitted, ''Idiot! I said that to conceal the truth. You should have responded with something like, 'Yeah! But it's already gone.' ''
Fate guy transmitted back, ''Let me manage it myself.''
Blue guy said, ''Lucan, then for one last time, let us accompany you. Let's find the crystal, after which we both will leave.''
Fate guy felt that he was once again creating more trouble.
He said, ''No, it's already tak-''
Lucan interrupted him.
''Hmm! But lord is also taking part in its search. If you are ready for that, then join us!''
Blue guy instantly replied, ''No! Why should I risk my life for that crystal, hehe! Lucan, you two go ahead on your own.''
Pink girl had doubts.
''Why did fate guy say tak-? That means he was trying to say something. Tak-... tak-... taken! But why did Lucan interrupt him? These two must be hiding something!''
She transmitted to blue guy, ''These two are lying to conceal something!''
She even explained her doubts to him.
Blue guy added, ''Lucan! Looks like we both are coming despite lord, hehe! Isn't that good news?''
Lucan smiled bitterly.
Fate guy felt that despite his personality, he continued causing problems.
Lucan laughed as he said, ''You think I would allow that?''
He reversed time.
Blue guy asked once again, ''Lucan, you found out something, right?''
Lucan replied, ''Yes, but forget it!''
He reversed time even further.
Pink girl asked, ''Fate guy! Are you kidding like blue guy? Lucan means it seriously!''
Lucan grinned again as he said, ''Fate guy isn't kidding! He is saying this with utmost seriousness, hehe! But he forgot to say one more thing?''
He thought inwardly:
''Hmm! Close call. But now, once again, I have to do everything without changing any actions.''
This was one flaw in his new move which could not be fixed.
But blue guy had been fixed through time reversal. That meant he was fated to survive like that, so Lucan had succeeded.
If blue guy's fate had truly been death, Lucan would not have been able to change it.
Lucan transmitted, ''Fate guy! Let me do the talking. You already caused more problems. I just reversed time to fix them!''
Fate guy gasped. He had only recently remembered his long-forgotten memories.
He agreed silently and spoke casually this time, carefully concealing everything.
After reversing time, things could not be changed, but they could be delayed or hastened, just like Lucan had hastened blue guy's recovery.
Later, blue guy and pink girl would definitely realize that Lucan and fate guy were hiding something.
However, by then, both Lucan and fate guy would have already left.
Thus, they would never discover the concealed truth.
Lucan thought:
''I have to find and destroy the fate crystal, or else things will become difficult for me in the future.''
After they finished talking, Lucan secretly met fate guy and explained everything that had happened.
Fate guy sighed.
''So I committed another mistake once again.''
Lucan replied, ''It was indeed a close call. If my cosmic energy had not been full, or if it had not stabilized yet, then we both would have easily exposed the truth!''
Fate guy lowered his head dejectedly.
Lucan patted him and encouraged him.
''But you definitely improved! When I transmitted to you, you acted properly!
If you were still your old self, you would have immediately shouted, 'What!? I have this many secrets!? Oh no! I exposed the truth to both blue guy and pink girl! Sorry, Lucan!' ''
Fate guy smiled bitterly.
He would have definitely done exactly that if he were still his former self.
Lucan then said, ''Now leave. I have some urgent tasks!''
Fate guy asked, ''Is there anything I can help with?''
Lucan shook his head.
Fate guy left while Lucan continued waiting for the golden butterfly.
As he thought about it, the golden butterfly suddenly appeared before him.
Lucan gently patted it and asked, ''I have a message for my dad! Will you go to Earth?''
The golden butterfly flew in front of his face and pulled him into the white room.
The paper stated:
'Write here!'
Lucan smirked as he wrote his message.
After finishing it, he left the white room.
The golden butterfly sat on his lap.
Lucan then received a request from it.
It wanted him to pat its head three times daily.
Lucan moved his index finger and slowly patted its head three times.
The butterfly became shy as it glowed brighter and brighter.
However, it quickly flew away after the second pat and rushed towards Earth while carrying his message.
Lucan exclaimed:
''Oh! Even this golden butterfly feels wholesome! Ah, damn it, even I got overwhelmed by this feeling of wholesomeness! My emotions overcame me!''
His face turned red as he desperately tried to calm himself down.
He covered his face with both hands and muttered to himself, ''Relax! Calm down!''
At that moment, fate guy walked in.
''Sorry! I forgot my-''
He suddenly saw Lucan blushing.
Fate guy said, ''Oh! Lucan, you can feel emotions? That's cool. Good thing I saw this!''
Lucan instantly stopped time and ran away to another location.
Time resumed.
Lucan gritted his teeth and muttered, ''Damn it! Who else is going to see me!?''
At that exact moment, blue guy and pink girl walked in front of him.
Both of them saw his red face.
Blue guy shouted, ''Lucan, look at your face! Oh! I need to frame this moment! Somebody give me a camera!''
Pink girl immediately started taking photos of Lucan as she exclaimed, ''I always wanted to see this side of you, Lucan!''
