Life crystal asked, "Past self?... Don't tell me... you are my future self!"
Future life crystal replied, "Yes, I am the Future life crystal!"
Death crystal asked, "And why did you come back to the past? Did something happen in the future?"
Future death crystal spoke, "Our entire timeline is now destroyed! All of it was because of you both."
Life crystal frowned, "What? Explain in detail."
Future life crystal started narrating the entire tale, from the Crystal of Betrayal until the end.
After hearing all this, Life crystal felt like trusting his own future self. "And Time crystal sacrificed itself for both Fate and you two, right?"
Future life crystal and Future death crystal nodded with a long sigh.
Life crystal frowned, "I told you, Death! We must kill that Lord guy. See what happened now!"
Death crystal replied, "I don't mind killing him for your sake, but my own self and Fate are the two chains binding me from doing so."
All four went silent.
Suddenly... a new portal opened as a figure fell down to the ground.
It was the same creepy figure from the future! Future life crystal and Future death crystal shouted, "He is that creepster we spoke about earlier!"
Life crystal asked, "But... how did he survive that? Shouldn't he be dead within the timeline?"
The figure spoke, "Wait! Don't attack me, listen to what I say first!"
Death crystal grabbed the figure by the neck, "Your tricks won't work on me, fool! Answer me, how did you survive?"
The figure replied, "I am Time crystal! Listen to me first, guys."
Death crystal asked, "Hmph! Enough nonsense. You expect me to believe this crap? I ain't like these fools!"
The figure started speaking about many confidential things, known only by crystals.
Death crystal set the figure down, "You... are really Time crystal! Damn it, how did this happen?"
The figure replied, "I self-destructed! And... I can't talk about this to you!"
Death crystal roared, "Hmm! Then how about you just stay dead?"
Life crystal stopped him, "Bro, let me hear him out! As this thing cannot be told to you."
"Why not to me?" asked Death crystal. Future life crystal said, "Not just you! Even Future death crystal shouldn't hear about it!"
Future death crystal frowned, "Yeah, why are you all obstructing us both?"
Life crystal and Future life crystal went to one side, while Death crystal and Future death crystal went to the other side.
The figure screamed, "Stop fighting, you two idiots! Listen to this—kill me!"
Everyone turned around in shock to hear this.
Life crystal asked, "Are you nuts? What the heck are you saying?"
The figure shouted, "It is because both I and that figure are trapped in here! It will use me to capture all of—"
The figure spoke, "Oh, sorry, my brain just went nuts for a second. Forget everything you heard just now!"
The entire group was filled with confusion.
Death crystal erased him. "I don't wanna gamble on this one. If its existence affects Fate and my friends, it must not exist!"
Future death crystal laughed, "That's exactly correct, dude. Damn, we think alike, bro!"
Life crystal and Future life crystal transmitted thoughts among themselves:
*"This is why that thing was banished for Death crystal, right?"*
*"Yeah, he doesn't know that we are mere fragments of the real crystal! And we can communicate with them!"*
*"If he comes to know about that, I think you know what would happen, right?"*
*"Yeah, I know! In fact, everybody knows about it, so what do we do now?"*
*"Let's buy time and wait for Fate to give us orders. He must know about this already. Our mission is coming soon!"*
The figure screamed in pain, "No! Leave me, leave me! I am Time crystal, why are you hurting your friend?"
Death crystal said, "You see... I naturally hate killing others, but if it is something or someone who wants to hurt Fate or my friends... Hehe, I will enjoy the kill until your last breath!"
Future death crystal laughed, "Well said, old me! Spare me some of the fun, too."
Life crystal and Future life crystal fell into a dilemma.
Far away in space, a wrecked spaceship was flying randomly.
Inside, two figures lay down and were being healed by the golden butterflies.
The spaceship was being rebuilt quickly. Slowly, Fate guy opened his eyes.
He asked, "Wait a minute... how am I alive? And how am I in Lucan's spaceship? Wasn't I captured by the space station?"
The golden butterfly from Lucan's armor brought him to the white room.
A paper and a golden pen were there, and letters slowly appeared on them:
*"Fate guy, it's been so long since they left. We have been taking care of both you and the spaceship!"*
And the letters faded away slowly as he finished reading completely.
Fate guy frowned as he wrote, *"Why didn't these golden butterflies help us in the fight? We could have easily won without even trying!"*
His text was instantly erased, as new text appeared on the paper:
*"I won't risk Lucan's life. I don't care about winning or losing! Only Lucan's life and his goal matter to me! For that, I will sacrifice anything, even myself!"*
And the letters slowly disappeared.
Fate guy wrote, *"But how do we risk Lucan's life in there?"*
The reply appeared in the same golden text:
*"Knowing about our existence will make Lucan the primary target in the whole universe! Heard it right? Universe! Not a solar system or a galaxy!"*
Fate guy went speechless as he wrote, *"In that case, many people know about your existence already. The space station! Organization! Lord! Crystals! How is that possible?"*
The reply was...
*"I said OUR existence, not MY existence! Knowing about just me is fine, but if they knew that the entire race is here... My friends and family would be in danger! I risk my life for Lucan, but... what did they do? They just want to live peacefully! And Lucan said, 'I know a certain place where your friends can stay peaceful forever! Hehe, take it as a return gift for the gift you gave my father!'"*
Fate guy put the pen down; he understood the entire situation.
He was teleported out of the white room as he apologized to all the golden butterflies, "I am sorry... friends! Forgive me, I was too naive."
He even started to shed tears, "I am pathetic, I am useless, I am worthless! Lord was right! I shouldn't have lived. I only cause trouble for others by staying by their side. I have only helped Lucan to increase his burden! I must die! I can't let myself be a burden to others anymore!"
The entire flock of golden butterflies stopped their work as they flew as a cluster towards him.
They slammed him down and gave him the deadliest punishment in history...
Infinite tickling!
He started to shed tears... of joy in laughter. "Hahaha, stop it! Ah! I can't bear it anymore, my stomach is about to burst from laughter! Hahaha!"
The golden butterfly on Lucan's armor snorted coldly.
Fate guy understood the meaning as he begged, "Okay, I surrender, I will never say I should die anymore!"
Only then did he escape the punishment.
He spoke, "But still... why for my life? Unlike Lucan, I am not a special person to you!"
Lucan woke up during this commotion as he grinned, "You? Not a special person? Haha! Stop kidding, Fate guy!"
The golden butterfly on Lucan's armor saw him rise as it grabbed his nose tightly and hugged him.
Lucan grinned, "Hehe, thought I was dead? I was awake all this time, just wanted to play a prank pretending to be dead! Hehe—"
Fate guy spoke, "Lucan! Did you just play a prank pretending to be dead?"
Lucan replied, "Hehe! Yes, why? Is there any problem?"
Fate guy saw the flock of golden butterflies, including Lucan's.
He smirked, "Be ready for divine punishment! Infinite tickling!"
