Three weeks passed and Lin Shen woke up in the infirmary of the Golden Azure sect, It was night time so only the guards would be out on patrol
"The Golden Azure sect huh… I wonder what changed" Lin Shen said as he got up and wore the robes on the side table and
He made his way into the main hall and then to his old room
It was the same way as he had left it, if not for the fact Sun Rong was examining it
"Like what you see" Lin Shen said as he leaned against the doorframe
"Wh-When d-did you get here and aren't you supposed to be resting" Sun Rong stammered as she was caught off guard by Lin Shen her face turning a shade of red
"So I wanted to ask" said Lin Shen as he closed the door behind him
"Did you really mean what you said back then" said Lin Shen as the door locked with a soft click
Sun Rong's face turned redder as she sat on the bed
"Y-yes, I-I meant that" said Sun Rong holding one arm a nervous habit she had developed
Lin Shen's heart started beating more quickly his face turned a slight shade of red
He sat down on the bed next to Sun Rong
They just sat there in uncomfortable silence
Then Sun Rong asked the question
"Lin Shen, what do you think of me"
"I think you are a strong and talented"
"No, I meant as a woman"
Lin Shen thought about it for a moment and then replied
"If I am being honest when we first met, I did not have any feelings for you"
Sun Rong's expression turned dark
"But when we started living together, back at the base, my life took a turn."
Sun Rong's expression softened slightly
"At first I found you a little bit annoying always asking questions popping up whenever you want but in the last six months apart, I started missing you"

Then without warning Sun Rong jumped onto Lin Shen and they both landed on the soft mattress

"Sun Rong What are you—"
"I love you Lin Shen, I want to be with you for the rest of my life"
Lin Shen went silent and then spoke his usually cold demeanor replaced with a genuine smile as his face reddened
Then without warning he moved and this time he was on top of Sun Rong
"You dummy that's my Line" Lin Shen said as he kissed her
The next morning, they both woke in the embrace of one another as their clothes were scattered across the room

"Good morning," said Lin Shen as he proceeded to give her a morning kiss
After the kiss Sun Rong spoke
"Last night was intense, my body aches a lot"

Then they both burst into laughter
"Looks like I am going to be a mother-in-law soon,"
The two of them froze and turned around slowly only to find Sun Chen, The ancestor of the Tang sect, Madam Feng, and Lin Shu
The Ancestor of the Tang sect Tang Xuanming now examined the room like a battlefield before his gaze set on Lin Shen and Sun Rong
"OH NO I'M DEAD WHY THE HELL IS GRANDPA HERE" Sun Rong screamed internally
Lin Shen got up in a panic trying to explain but the sheet slipped revealing a dragon
Lin Shu was suppressing laughter while Madam Feng was probably processing what she is seeing

Then he disappeared and reappeared by the door before locking it and then he immediately grabbed his clothes and pulled out a barrier talisman and stuck it on the door as a Strong Qi barrier was erected
"Sun Rong wear your clothes now" said Lin Shen as he put on his pants
Five minutes later the room door opened again and Lin Shen and Sun Rong sat on the floor
"So, Lin Shen I heard that you had an intense night" asked Madam Feng
"M-Mother may I ask how you entered the room I am pretty sure it locks from the inside"
"Did you forget little Shen I have the spare keys to each room"
"HAHAHAHA, oh Lin Shen, I did not think you of all people would fall in love and with the poison flower of the Tang Sect too" Lin Shu said as she continued laughing her eyes out
"ENOUGH" Sun Chen shouted
"Sun Rong I've had enough of your nonsense you are coming back to the Tang Sect whether you like it or not"
"NO, I vowed that I will stay by Lin Shen's side. I will not leave just because you asked me to"
"Sun Chen, I think that's enough," said Tang Xuanming
"This girl needs to understand what she had just did"
"Sun Chen, Sun Rong is a grown woman, yes she can be a little unreliable at times but you should also understand who she chooses is her choice not yours"
Then he turned to Lin Shen
"Young man I approve of your relationship with my granddaughter, but just know if in the future you ever mistreat her, I will make your life a living hell"
Lin Shen and Sun Rong exchanged shocked looks because none of them where expecting this to happen
Then Sun Rong hugged Lin Shen tightly Lin Shen did not resist instead he embraced her

"Wait a minute why are you deciding things for me" Lin Shen asked
"In a week it is" Tang Xuanming replied
"Who do you think we should invite" Sun Chen asked

They just turned and left discussing wedding plans
Lin Shen sat heavily on the bed and Sun Rong sat next to him leaning on to his shoulder
