It was very dark in my room I've been up since 3am but I've just been laying in bed for the past three hours because I can't pull my self out of bed
I reached for my phone on my night stand and see a notification.
Its Liam! He texted me! Even though we broke up at the end of summer.
My heart started racing. I don't even know if I should open the text. Part of me misses him and wants to see what he said and move on but I can't
I opened the text...it said " are you okay"
I was confused. Did he know that im not and that I have been having suicidal thoughts lately or is he just asking? And if he does know who told him?
My mind started racing with all the possibilities why you texted me and if you know im suicidal or not.
So I played it safe and said " what are you talking about?" He said
" I dont know I just wanted to make sure..and I wanted a reason to text you"
I was relieved I dont think he found out. I put my phone down and started thinking about why you texted me and what made you text me all of a sudden, and why me out of everyone.
I picked up my phone again and started typing. I asked "why are you texting me all of a sudden.
I waited for a response. When you finally answered back you said
" well..I kept thinking about you for a while before I texted you. About how pretty your eyes are and how beautiful your smile is and how you light up a hole room when you walk in.."
I was stunned Liam is like a bad boy. He has thick black hair and sharp eyes and always getting into trouble. He is the type of boy that plays girls when he's bored.
So him being vulnerable like that and admitting he has been thinking about me like that was a very big surprise.
Me and him have hated each other since 7th grade and we dated for like a week in the summer but he told me it was a dare and he didn't really like me.
I didn't know how to reply to the text so I left Liam on read. But today is the first day of junior year of high school so I need to get ready!
I jumped out of bed and went to the bathroom to do my makeup before school.
I dont use a lot of makeup I only use lashes and lip gloss. I put my hair in a low messy bun and throw on my favorite huddie.
When I got to my first class. We had a sitting chart... and guess who I sit by?
