**Chapter 6: Yanhuang Legion**
After returning to the hotel, Zhou Ming had waited less than an hour before receiving a call from Yu Man.
"We've located the Cronus Organization's stronghold. It's time to launch the attack."
After saying this, Yu Man's smiling voice continued through the phone. "Also, we've left a little gift for you."
"A gift?" Zhou Ming asked curiously.
"Come to my room, and you'll find out," Yu Man said mysteriously.
After hanging up, Zhou Ming walked straight to Yu Man's room.
Although he already had a guess about the so-called gift, he was still somewhat surprised when he actually saw it.
"You brought him back?" Zhou Ming said, looking with slight surprise at the unconscious blond middle-aged Caucasian man lying on the floor.
"The rewards we'd get from killing him are only a few points. It's more beneficial to leave him for you, since you still have the newcomer bonus," Yu Man explained with a smile.
Zhou Ming looked at the assassin on the ground but didn't act immediately. After a moment of silence, he asked, "What do you want in return?"
He didn't believe that mere fondness for him would make the two go this far.
The two exchanged glances and both laughed.
"Very good. I like you more and more," Yang Zhisheng said with a grin, pulling something from his person and handing it to Zhou Ming.
Zhou Ming took the item, and the Main God's voice immediately sounded in his mind.
**[Item obtained: Legion Badge.]**
**[This badge belongs to the Yanhuang Legion. Accepting the badge will induct you into the Yanhuang Legion with the rank of Corporal.]**
"Legion? Is that a reincarnator organization recognized by the Main God?" Zhou Ming examined the badge in his hand carefully and asked.
The badge was brass-colored overall, with a lifelike Eastern five-clawed dragon embossed on the front. The back was smooth, without any pattern.
"That's right. There are two legitimate forms of organization in the Main God Space: one is the small team, which has a limit of twenty people, and the other is the large legion, which has no limit on membership."
"These two forms aren't mutually exclusive. Reincarnators can hold both identities simultaneously. In fact, most of a legion's internal structure is divided into small teams that operate together."
"Ninety percent of our Yanhuang Legion are Chinese, and we're one of the top legions in the Main God Space." Though Yang Zhisheng's tone was calm, it conveyed a strong sense of pride.
"It sounds like an honor to receive your invitation." Zhou Ming fiddled with the badge in his hand and smiled. "What benefits do I get from joining the legion? And what obligations would I need to undertake?"
"There are many benefits," Yang Zhisheng said. "The legion's warehouse is stocked with good things, generally cheaper than exchanging them directly from the Main God. And the higher your rank, the cheaper things become."
"You can also rely on the legion's powerful intelligence network to gather information—including rare items not in the warehouse, plot mission intelligence, and so on."
"If you can afford the price, you can even hire legion members to enter a mission world with you to help complete tasks. With the guarantee of a legion contract, they're far more reliable than random reincarnators you'd find outside."
"As for obligations, the legion doesn't impose many restrictions on individuals. It won't force you to hand over your belongings, and unless under special circumstances, it won't force you to participate in legion activities."
"The special circumstances I mentioned are truly rare—things like legion wars, super-large world conquest missions, team confrontation missions, or even assassination missions. Anyway, I haven't encountered them myself."
"Of course, in daily operations, the legion does issue some missions, but they all come with generous rewards—substantial contribution points, for example. Contribution points can raise your rank, giving you higher status and better treatment within the legion."
"Additionally, conditions like legion members not being allowed to kill each other are there to protect our rights. In fact, joining a legion has another big advantage: in competitive missions, people from the same legion won't be assigned to opposing factions, which largely avoids infighting among legion members."
Zhou Ming nodded, gaining an initial understanding of the legion, but he didn't want to make a hasty decision just yet.
"Could you give me some time to think it over?"
At the very least, he wanted to wait until this mission ended and he returned to the Main God Space to learn more, so he wouldn't be completely in the dark.
Of course, he wouldn't say the latter part out loud.
"Of course. In fact, even if you wanted to join, you'd have to wait until the mission ends and you return to the Main God Space to activate the corresponding function."
"So for now, you're still under our observation. You'll need to keep performing well," Yu Man said with a wink and a charming smile.
The matter was left at a mutually satisfactory outcome. Zhou Ming didn't make an immediate decision, and Yu Man and the others didn't need him to.
Regardless of whether Zhou Ming would later join the Yanhuang Legion, at least in this mission world, they were in a honeymoon period of cooperation.
After Zhou Ming eliminated that assassin, the operation against the Cronus Organization officially entered the preparation stage.
Although this world looked very much like Earth, it was not Earth. The continental plates were different, and the countries were different too. For example, the island Zhou Ming and his companions were currently on had a status similar to Hawaii on Earth, but its name was Hemahe Island.
The headquarters of the Cronus Organization was located in a country called Sao Country on the Yan Continent, which was the nearest landmass to Hemahe Island.
Sao Country had a land area of 480,000 square kilometers. It belonged to the ranks of developing countries, had a small population, and underdeveloped tourism. The country's main financial income came from manufacturing, which was gradually being phased out by developed countries—essentially serving as a large factory for those developed nations.
However, it was precisely such a country—internationally inconspicuous, with low visibility, and unknown to most people on Earth—that was suitable for organizations like the Cronus Organization to hide themselves.
"Although this country's economic development is mediocre, its domestic security is decent. While it's not a complete gun ban, it won't be easy for us to transport heavy weapons in."
On the unfolded map, the three discussed the plan.
"You have spatial equipment, don't you?" Zhou Ming asked.
"We've only just completed three missions. We're no longer newbies, but how advanced do you think our spatial equipment can be?" Yang Zhisheng said with a wry smile.
"Some small weapons can be brought in with spatial equipment, but to break through the Cronus Organization's headquarters, that small amount of weaponry is far from enough."
"Moreover, acquiring equipment after entering Sao Country would require a lot of time to find the right channels—time we simply don't have."
Reincarnators, who could travel between different worlds, possessed various magical abilities, and commanded a vast amount of knowledge, could actually accomplish much more than their apparent abilities suggested.
However, most of the time, they still relied on their own strength to desperately complete missions, because often the biggest problem restricting reincarnators was mission time.
They didn't have time to calmly plan, no time to slowly strategize and develop. For each mission world, they were fleeting travelers—coming to this world to cause a stir, then leaving, or forever leaving their lives behind.
Zhou Ming thought for a moment and proposed his idea.
"What if we do it like in the movie *Assassin's Creed*—using rats to blow up the Cronus Organization's headquarters? We'd only need to prepare a large amount of ammonium nitrate."
"Producing ammonium nitrate is much simpler than getting heavy weapons. For example, we could take a fertilizer factory owner hostage and use his factory to produce the ammonium nitrate."
"Additionally, we'd need a large number of watch timers as detonators. Those are also very simple to make. The only troublesome part is the plastic explosives, but the quantity isn't large, so I think your spatial equipment should be able to handle it."
"By the way, can you get plastic explosives?"
If it were the previous Zhou Ming, lacking relevant knowledge, he wouldn't have thought of these things at all.
Fortunately, the combat experience from three consecutive assassins had greatly expanded his knowledge in this area.
After all, assassins needed to master various methods and adapt to different situations to eliminate their targets.
Infiltration, assassination, sniping, demolition, poisoning—an excellent assassin must master a wide range of skills. It wasn't always possible to just rush straight at the target and go on a rampage.
"Good idea. We can try it," Yang Zhisheng agreed.
"I haven't delved into that area," Yu Man said. "Unless you two can handle all the work, I don't agree."
"And the rats—how are you going to get so many rats?"
"Sewers, garbage dumps, plus peanut butter with pheromones. We can catch all the rats we need in one night." Zhou Ming shrugged. "I can handle that."
Yang Zhisheng said, "Leave the other problems to me. Whether it's making demolition tools or modifying equipment for extracting ammonium nitrate, I can manage it."
"Then I have no objections," Yu Man said.
"Alright, let's proceed with this plan," Yang Zhisheng concluded, seeing no further objections.
"Without further ado, I'll book tickets to Sao Country now."
The nearest flight was in six hours. During this time, Yang Zhisheng also gathered the new reincarnators, briefly explained the situation, and imparted some mission completion experience to prevent them from being at a loss after his sudden departure, which could lead to mission failure.
Zhou Ming, meanwhile, was researching relevant information online, refining their subsequent plans.
Six hours later, Zhou Ming and Yang Zhisheng boarded the plane to Sao Country on time.
Yu Man stayed behind. She had a crucial mission—to obtain enough plastic explosives from the arms dealer they had contacted, then travel alone to Sao Country to meet up with Zhou Ming and the others.
Nearly four more hours passed, and the plane landed at Sao Country's capital international airport.
The two men left the airport, found a nearby car rental company, rented a car, and then drove toward their destination.
