[Julius's POV]
Kat was out of it. The gruesome sight of seeing a bullet tear through someone's skull will do that to you. I'm actually surprised I'm not in the same state, but since I wasn't, it was my duty as her boyfriend to be here for her.
"Tch. Come out."
I clicked my tongue. A crimson-dressed ninja falling out of the trees. My demeanor changed seeing the familiar-looking ninja. My memory remembered that one dude, Daredevil, was quite good since it was so simple.
The hand, as they were called, was the organization this bastard was from. It was horrible that he came at such a time when Kat was like this.
Covering her eyes and ears, I stared at the bastard, feeling no fear.
"Scram."
I sent a blue at him. His body was crushed into nothing because of the pressure. Nearby leaves and branches served perfectly to cover up any potential mess, not that there was any.
'Thank god, I teleported with no one here.'
I let Kat regain her senses, her big eyes so adorable. The way they met mine just made me go over the moon that our relationship was progressing so fast.
"What happened?" she asked.
I smiled. "I just gave him a hand, that's all."
She tilted her head cutely.
'Oh my God, this woman was so adorable and equally seductive. I've hit the jackpot, I swear!'
"Do you want me to teleport you home?" I felt that might be the best decision. However, it was up to her.
"N-No."
"By home, you do know I mean my place? Well, our place."
"I actually didn't know that… are you going to do nightwatch alone then?"
"Of course, I can't let Gwen and Peter down."
"Be honest with me. It's just Gwen you mean?"
"Yeah. Yeah. But eventually it'll be Peter, too. He and I need to get used to each other slowly; we are distinctly different people."
"Agreed." She sighed. "I don't want to leave you alone, so don't send me home!"
"Okay. Then—"
"Car chase on Sixth… no, Seventh Avenue!"
"Time to go, then." I picked her up back in a princess carry, teleporting away.

"Order number 88!"
I got up and grabbed our dinner. A perfectly fresh and hot meal of Chinese food! We needed it after nightwatch duties; the work was stressful, for God's sake.
Fwoo~
"Honey, I'm home!"
"Hehehe~, welcome home, dear~" She ran out of the living room. "Was work tough?"
She helped me take off my imaginary coat, with a deep sigh, leaving my soul.
"You have no idea. These old bones can't handle it."
"Bahahahaha~ enough, enough. I can't handle it, stupid! Let's eat!"
She snatched the bag of food and went right back to the living room. As I turned the corner, she eagerly patted the spot next to her.
"They are doing a Transformers watch-along! Come on! Come on!"
I hopped over the couch, landing right next to her. My right hand wrapped around her waist as I controlled Blue to manipulate my food to stay in the air. I started eating my stir-fry with my left hand, listening as she eagerly devoured her food.
"Hefueheu."
"Pfft~! What did you say?"
She gulped, reiterating what she tried to say.
"We didn't get Gwen or Peter's number."
"Tch. Tch. That's why your boyfriend is the best." I put my stir-fry on the coffee table. Slipping my phone out of my pocket, I unlocked it with my face and shared Gwen's contact. Person number four in my contact list.
She put down her chicken fried rice.
"Why do you have her number?" A cute pout formed on her face.
"We ran into each other whenever we separated on our last chase. I thought then that I should get it, so I did."
"You must really want a harem, huh?"
"Wait. How does that even—oh. You're messing with me."
"Boooo! Don't ruin it!"
Flick~
"You can't even try. You're the one who said she might need the help."
Kat's neck flared up a bit.
"S-Shut up, idiot."
Her chicken fried rice started disappearing faster. Her hands were like lightning; unfortunately, no thunder was here to help distract her.
Chuu~
"Jokes aside, Kat. Are you really better now?"
She leaned into me harder. "No. But I'll come over it! With what you want to do, it was only a matter of time until I saw something like that."
"True. But what I want to do and what you want to do are different. Don't feel obligated to copy me."
"Shut it! I want to be with you and support you, so I'm going to do that!"
"Tha—?"
Kat's amazing dexterity was used against me. She straddled my lap, bending down and taking my lips before I could blink. The Six Eyes, even when inactive, still gave me a buff, so I knew what she was aiming for from the start.
Her tongue breached my mouth, taking mine. I locked it and enjoyed the sweet-and-sour taste of her. A Chinese food-flavored kiss was an exotic first-kiss experience.
Mwah~
"Is that enough for you to shut up?"
"No, that requires a longer seal." I grabbed her waist, pulling her down more, pushing my neck forward, and taking her lips again. All of my primal desires threatened to come out.
The sloppy sound of our kiss drowned out Bumblebee's entrance. The movie had long been out of our minds. We just kept feeding off each other's passion.
Until we separated.
"Ha~ Ha~, not fair, hubby."
"Be quiet, you adorable seductress."
She rested her head on my shoulder. My shirt soon became damp as her facade finally broke. It was about time it did; her face couldn't hide what her mind was thinking.
"I really didn't want to see that."
I hugged her fragile-looking body, despite it being anything but. With her head unmoving, I continued letting her vent.
"B—but I didn't want to leave, so I put it away. T-T-Though…"
"That's enough, Kat. Just cry it all out."
My words were the last barrier. She cried for a whole hour until she passed out.
'I really fucking love her.'
I've never felt this way. After this long hour, I realized it even more. The two of us were so fortunate to have found each other. Being separated from my home felt slightly less bad now.
I hugged her while she fell asleep. Slowly getting up, I brought her to our room and gently put her down. After a quick shower and teeth-brushing, I slipped in with her, my left arm wrapping around her as I held her close.
