Keifers pov
Everyone left... It was just me and jay in my car and suddenly she seemed to lean in to get something.
"Jay... What happened to controlling your hands huh?"
I asked my smirk returning and suddenly she hit me on the arm.
"As if you wish... I was taking your phone... Stop being so dirty minded"
I chuckled... She always knew how to lighten my mood.
"Well so why are you checking my phone huh? I promise I don't talk to other girls"
She rolled her eyes but she was opening some apps in my phone and I just let it be... She was the one person who always had the permission to look at my stuff. Only her tho no one else.
Jayjay's pov
I wasn't checking his messages or anything I was just looking for a few photos of the whole section together with drew, Yuri and Josh... Back when we all were happy...
As I scrolled I found a few photos but I kept scrolling back until the photos seemed older like the guys looked younger and I scrolled little more back like even before the witch joined and I found a photo.
And yes! All of them were there and I was just zooming in to see their faces and I was smirking when I noticed a guy I've never seen before...
He wasnt from section e or even HVIS.
I was starting to get confused but I asked the king
"Keifer... Who is this guy?"
He shifted his gaze from the road to the photo and suddenly he froze and abruptly stopped the car on the side of the road and I could see the way his eyes welled up.
"Keif what's wrong"
He didn't answer instead he let the tears fall and I was the one pulling into my arms this time.
"Shh it's okay it's okay let it all out baby... Cry its okay I'm here... It's me"
I held him as he sobbed and I knew this was sensitive like really sensitive for him cause he's keifer he never cries but now he did like he was holding in so much frustration and stress and he just let it all out...
He finally pulled back and wiped his tears but I held his hands.
"Can u tell me what's up?"
"Kyle. He was the former president of section E before David... He was... Such a good friend... He was the first man I met who stood up to Angelo... When I was lost with Percy's well so called death... He showed me what strength was... A few days before he... He ... He told David to take care of the section for as long as he could before David would eventually have to 'give up the crown'... He never said to who... Even tho David originally tried to get the position back but eventually David said Kyle was talking about me after that fight me and him had..."
"But keifer a few days before what?"
Keifer stayed silent for a long time.
"Before...he left us Jay... Before he cut up his wrist... Without telling us why... He just left and just a few hours before he texted me... He told... 'David will be in power but one day the roles must change' I didn't understand I begged him to explain everything to me but he never replied cause he....he did it that night the next day they found his body bleeding from his wrist"
I didn't feel the tears down my eyes until keifer hugged me and we just stayed like that no questions asked...
Keifer has gone through so much losing his mother, taking care of brothers own his own, getting betrayed by friends, a dead beat dad...
Yet he was still the strongest pillar in section E
