Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Offering Herself?

A cold corpse, dead leaves and soil stained dark red with blood, and the cawing of crows echoing from the depths of the forest.

Standing in this hellish environment, An Suling had never felt so wonderful. She looked up at the sky infatuatedly, greedily breathing in the fresh air.

The night sky tonight was actually so beautiful; the moon was round and full, and countless stars dotted the firmament, forming a breathtaking scene.

She was dazed, raising her hand to touch the corner of her lips; there seemed to be a lingering scent there, which must have been that person's taste.

She was like Snow White, kissed awake by a prince granted by heaven.

Turning to look in the direction the other person had left, a subtle, almost imperceptible tenderness flashed in An Suling's eyes. Then, she picked up her phone, and her expression turned cold and stern once more.

"Take action. Leave no one alive!"

Making a call, An Suling issued the order.

Once this order was issued, a purge would be unleashed across various parts of the city tonight, targeting all members of the "Alligator Worshipper" organization. This was a preparation An Suling had already made.

She had thought of this from the beginning and had also obtained the consent of the organization's president. Because, according to the enemy's methods, they would eventually figure out Freya's existence. To protect Freya, she had come up with a desperate solution.

First, at this point, the fact that the organization possessed Freya could no longer be hidden. She could only try to ensure that the hostile forces could not specifically know that Freya was the person they were looking for.

So, to protect Freya, all An Suling could do was to purge all the members of the Alligator organization in this city at once, and then have the organization disappear without a trace.

The Alligator organization would likely suspect that they had hidden away with the important person and would focus their energy on searching for the organization, making Freya safe by default.

But in doing so, she would have to leave Freya's side. Having exposed her identity, she was like a giant lightbulb, constantly reminding the enemy of Freya's importance.

Thinking about leaving this place, An Suling became somewhat distracted.

On the way back, Alex encountered An Suling's subordinates. They were tracking the bloodstains An Suling had left on the ground. Alex avoided them and headed toward his home.

Thinking about the night's events, his expression couldn't help but turn serious. The guy who died at his hands was clearly not from the same organization as An Suling. What exactly was Freya's background that it would attract such great attention from them?

Alex vaguely felt that he had fallen into a quagmire and could no longer extricate himself. The days ahead might be even more dangerous. Fortunately, Alex was not who he was when he first transmigrated; he could barely count as having some self-preservation strength.

However, his self-preservation ability was clearly stronger when facing women. If he hadn't realized that the enemy was actually female tonight, he wouldn't have rashly gotten involved.

The "Jiang Jinfu-level martial arts" suppression against women allowed Alex to always have the upper hand when facing the enemy tonight, keeping him in an invincible position.

Alex did not regret saving An Suling tonight. Because of Freya, although An Suling had once harbored the intent to kill him, after promising Freya, she had always been a moderate. If An Suling died and the mysterious organization sent a new person over, he would have to adapt again, and the other party might be an extremist who would insist on killing him, which would be even more troublesome.

Thinking about things all the way, when he came to his senses, he was already standing at his front door.

Looking at the brightly lit interior of the house, a warmth rose in Alex's heart.

Overall, Freya treated him very well. Although she had some small selfish motives, the benefits she brought to Alex were greater. Besides a comfortable life, if it hadn't been for Freya's intervention at the beginning, Alex might have already died at An Suling's hands.

So, no matter what, whenever he had the ability, Alex would try his best to ensure her safety.

Opening the door and entering the house, Alex saw Freya asleep on the dining table. On the table were seven or eight dishes he liked to eat, still retaining some warmth.

Alex walked closer and gently patted Freya's cheek. She moved her body and mumbled something, but did not wake up.

Seeing this, Alex thought for a moment, then picked her up and walked toward the bedroom. The night was a bit cold, and Freya was wearing thin clothing; sleeping outside would make it easy to catch a cold.

After entering the room, he placed Freya on her own bed. As he was about to leave, Alex discovered that Freya had wrapped herself tightly around him, making it impossible for him to straighten up. Moreover, her burning hot, delicate body and soft touch were clearly felt by him.

Alex couldn't help but gasp.

Looking down at Freya's stunningly beautiful sleeping face right before his eyes, Alex whispered a threat, "If you don't let go, I'm going to sleep with you."

Freya was sound asleep, but her arms wrapped around him even tighter, her chest inadvertently brushing against his body.

Alex confirmed that this woman was feigning sleep. What a silly woman, but his heart felt soft.

Alex lay down alongside her, letting Freya hold him, and even audaciously buried his face in the crook of her neck, breathing in the faint scent of a woman on her.

Tonight, Alex had personally ended a life, and even after killing the opponent, he hadn't dared to look at the corpse for fear that he would vomit. At this moment, he finally felt his heart calm down.

Freya's hand had moved to his head at some point, gently stroking it as if to comfort him.

When Alex woke up, it was already dawn outside. He was lying on Freya's bed, having slept the night away holding her.

If An Suling saw this scene, what would her reaction be? Surely she wouldn't kill her savior, would she?

Alex inexplicably thought of this.

An adolescent body is particularly sensitive in the early morning. He didn't dare to keep holding Freya for fear of accidents, so he removed the leg Freya had draped over him and got out of bed.

Just as he walked out of the room, he saw An Suling standing there, looking as if she had been standing there all night.

Alex was subconsciously somewhat vigilant.

An Suling watched him quietly for a while and said, "Do not make a move on Feiyan."

This sounded like a warning. Alex frowned and then heard An Suling say, "Come with me, to your room."

"Uh..." Alex subconsciously thought, could she be offering herself? That wouldn't be very good.

An Suling ignored him and walked straight into his room.

Alex remained standing in place, his heart filled with turmoil, as if two little figures were arguing inside.

What could An Suling possibly want with him? Should he go or not?

"Why aren't you coming in yet? What, are you scared?"

A cold, indifferent voice came from the room, carrying a hint of mockery.

Alex felt secretly angry upon hearing this. This woman was too ungrateful. Did she think he was easy to bully?

Alex followed, deciding to teach this woman a harsh lesson. Besides, matters had to be resolved. His identity was already known to An Suling, but now he wasn't afraid of her. He was confident he could subdue her; he would absolutely not let her get the upper hand.
