Jay's pov:
*Keifer's house in new york*
I woke up with pain in my legs, every muscle aching like I'd run a marathon in my sleep. Or worst than that.
The sheets were tangled around me, the mess I did.
No we did was... really something.
Asshole! The asshole you are keifer!
Because even after I woke up I can feel myself replaying it unconsciously.
Keifer stirred beside me, his warmth pressing against my side.
Before I could even move, he leaned in and kissed my forehead.
Soft.
Gentle.
Him.
And me alone.
"Morning," Keifer said, his voice low, still rough with sleep.
I hummed in response, nuzzling closer to him, he wrapped his hand around my waist protectively.
Then I grinned.
A teasing one.
"You lost control." I teased him.
He opened one eye and looked at me.
"Maybe tell Jason not to lean too close to you." He said.
Jealous.
100% Jealous.
I chuckled.
"Hard to control myself when I have a beautiful wife next to me," he said, kissing my lips.
"Wife?"
"Yes. Jasper Jean Mariano Watson. Suits you. Your my wife."
"Hmm. Ok." I shrugged.
But my reaction was supposed to be different.
I wanted to argue, to roll my eyes, to remind him that he was the one who snapped first. But the truth was, I liked this version of him — soft, unguarded, kissing me like I was the only thing that mattered.
And there was no one else. Only us.
And my mind betrayed me by saying 'ok' whenever he called me wifey.
Every single time.
I love him calling me that.
And maybe I lost control yesterday too. And I don't mind losing control as long as it's keifer.
"Freshen up, I'll make breakfast," Keifer said with that casual, soft of his.
"Hmm." I mumbled, laziness spilling over me. I didn't want to get up honestly.
By the time I came back, wrapped in one of Keifer's shirts, he was gone. I went downstairs and found him shirtless at the stove, cooking went intense focus.
I slipped behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist. "What are you cooking?" I asked, resting my cheek against his back.
"Your favourite pancakes." He answered.
I smiled through the hug.
"Jay... you know, hugging me like this might get you a round too."
I chuckled.
"I don't think so." I rolled my eyes. "Finish cooking. I am hungry." I said, pulling my arms away.
I stepped back. But before I could leave.
He crossed the room in two long strides, his eyes locked on mine. Before I could react, his arms wrapped around me, lifting me off the ground.
I let out a startled laugh as he spun me, the world blurring in dizzy circles. And then, before I could catch my breath, his lips crashed against mine.
It wasn't careful. It wasn't planned. It was wild. Just how I like it.
I kissed him back.
"Focus keifer. you do not want the pancakes to burn."
He kissed me again, deep and lingering, but I pulled back just enough to murmur against his lips, "I'm hungry... go finish."
He froze for a second, staring at me like I'd just committed the ultimate crime. Then he laughed, low and incredulous. "Seriously? You're choosing pancakes over me? I thought my kisses were enough."
I smirked, brushing my thumb across his jaw. "I am not choosing. I am just prioritizing at the moment."
Keifer moved back to cooking, laughing.
while I, on the other hand, hopped up onto the counter, swinging my legs casually. Keifer's shirt hung loose on me, but as I shifted, it rode up, shortening just enough to make his eyes flick toward me.
I knew what I was doing, I pulled out my phone scrolling through reels, pretending not to notice. His hand froze. He froze. His eyes scanning me.
"Jay..." he said slowly, his voice dipping into dangerous tone.
I raised my brows innocently. "What?"
He turned back quickly using the spatula to pick the pancake plating it neatly on the plate.
He walked to me, sliding the plate as filled it with my favourite syrup.
"Where is your plate? Aren't you hungry?" I asked frowning.
"I am."
"Then grab one."
Instead he smirked. he closed the distance, his lips finding mine.
" your lips are my breakfast Jay. They taste better" he whispered, his voice low and teasefull. "I'm eating my breakfast... which is happens to be your tasty lips."
Heat rushed to my face, and I couldn't help the blush that betrayed me.
I took a slice of pancake bringing it near to his mouth. He took it, as he leaned his head on my shoulder.
"Us being alone... it feels good Jay." He whispered.
And honestly?
I think the same.
I smiled.
"Definitely" I commented.
"No disturbance. Nothing. Just us." He murmured.
I chuckled softly.
