Keifer's pov:
Live-in relationship.
The surprising thing was... her family agreeing to this.
We were watching movie.
We thought we had peace.
I thought we had it.
The movie was really romantic. She was leaning on me, eyes fixed on the movie while feeding me a popcorn and herself.
But the romantic atmosphere was ruined when I tried to kiss her:
*DING DONG*
I groaned irritated.
I opened the door. Only to see...
Freya
Rakki
Ella
Mica
Grace (She already gave birth)
Behind them.
The 2 boys
Percy and Aries.
I sighed dramatically.
"Don't you guys know the meaning of privacy."
I groaned.
"Get lost!" Freya said flatly.
The girls immediate pulled Jay towards the bedroom... and the way they were dressed did not settle in right.
"Where are the going all dressed up." I asked Aries who was pissed.
"BAR!" He yelled.
CRASH!
Me and Aries immediately turned.
"PERCY!" We yelled.
That idiot was apparently looking for food, crashing all the vessels down.
The girls got down.
I froze as I saw Jay.
Her dress was dangerously short. I wanted to rip it off, leave marks. (Dress in comment section)
Jay kissed my cheek.
"Bye." She said softly.
I stood frozen, blinking while Aries slapped his head.

Author's pov:
The bar pulsed with music and laughter. Rakki had her arm around Mica's shoulders, both of them tipsy and singing along to whatever was playing. Freya and Ella were at the pool table, taking terrible shots and cackling every time the cue ball scratched. Grace sat at the corner of their table with a glass of water, smiling at her friends' antics but staying firmly sober as usual.
Jay nursed her second drink, feeling the pleasant buzz warm her chest. She'd dressed up for girls' night, a black dress that showed more skin than she usually bothered with.
She didn't notice the man until he was already leaning against the bar beside her.
"Buy you another?" he asked, eyes sliding down her body with obvious interest.
"No thanks," Jay said, turning back toward her friends.
"Come on. One drink." His hand found her waist, fingers pressing into her hip. "I'm Derek."
Jay stiffened, trying to step back, but the crowd behind her blocked her escape. "I said no. I'm here with friends."
"Friends who left you alone." Derek's thumb traced circles against her dress, his grip tightening. "Just one drink. What are you afraid of?"
Across the room, Keifer saw everything.
He'd told himself he wouldn't come. Told himself Jay deserved a night with her friends without him hovering like some obsessive shadow. But he'd parked his car down the street anyway, unable to stay away completely, telling himself it was just to make sure she got home safe.
Now he sat in a dark corner, his fingers white around his wine glass, watching some stranger put his hands on what belonged to him.
When Derek's fingers drifted lower, grazing the curve of Jay's ass, something inside Keifer snapped.
He moved through the crowd like a storm, people scattering in his wake. Jay saw him coming, her eyes widening with recognition and something else, something that looked almost like relief mixed with apprehension. She had no time to react before Keifer's hand closed around her wrist.
"Hey, what the hell-" Derek started, reaching for Jay's other arm.
Keifer stepped between them, his shoulders blocking Jay from view. "Don't."
"Who are you, her bodyguard?" Derek laughed, but it came out nervous. "She's a grown woman. She can talk to whoever she wants."
"She's not interested." Keifer's voice was low, controlled, but his eyes burned with barely contained violence. "And you're done touching her."
"Keife." Jay said, though her voice shook slightly. "I was handling it."
"Were you?" He didn't look at her, his gaze locked on Derek until the other man raised his hands and backed away.
"Whatever, man. She's not worth the trouble."
Keifer took a step forward, but Jay grabbed his arm. "Don't. He's not worth it either."
For a long moment, Keifer stood frozen, his jaw working, the muscle in his cheek twitching. Then he turned to her, and the raw possession in his eyes made her breath catch.
"Come with me," he said. Not a request. A command.
"Keifer, the girls-"
"Percy and Aries will take care of them."
Keifer didn't wait. He pulled her through the crowd, his grip on her wrist iron and unyielding, propelling her toward the exit. Jay stumbled after him in her heels, her heart hammering against her ribs. the part she didn't want to examine too closely, thrilled at the raw hunger in his eyes, the way his body vibrated with barely suppressed need.
"Keifer, stop," she hissed as they burst through the door into the cool night air. "What are you doing? What is wrong with you?"
He didn't answer. His car was parked at the curb, and he marched her straight to it, yanking the passenger door open.
"Get in."
"This is insane. You can't just-"
"Get. In. Jay."
She climbed into the passenger seat, her dress riding up her thighs, her pulse racing. Keifer slammed her door and rounded the truck, climbing into the driver's seat with controlled violence. The engine roared to life, tires squealing as he peeled away from the curb.
They drove in silence for three blocks. The tension in the cab was suffocating, thick enough to choke on. Jay could feel the heat rolling off him, could see the white-knuckled grip he had on the steering wheel, the way his chest rose and fell with each harsh breath.
"Keifer." She whispered
"He touched you."
"He barely-"
"He put his hands on you." Keifer's voice cracked with something dangerous. "On what's mine."
Jay's breath caught. "I don't belong to you, Keifer."
He glanced at her then, just for a second, and the dark hunger in his gaze made her thighs clench involuntarily. "No. We belong to each other instead."
The rest of the drive passed in electric silence. Jay's anger should have been building, should have been preparing her for the fight they were clearly heading toward. But instead she felt herself growing warm, her skin too sensitive against the fabric of her dress, her breath coming shorter with every mile they put behind them.
By the time Keifer turned onto their street, her pulse was racing for an entirely different reason. The car felt too small, too hot, the air between them crackling with something she couldn't name and didn't want to examine.
Keifer killed the engine in the driveway but didn't move to get out. He turned to face her, one arm draped over the steering wheel, the other resting on the back of her seat. Close. So close she could smell his cologne, his skin, the faint hint of whiskey on his breath, the underlying scent of him that had always undone her.
"You let him touch you," he said, low and dangerous.
"I didn't let him do anything."
"You didn't stop him fast enough."
Jay's laugh was shaky, unconvincing even to her own ears. "So what, you're punishing me? Dragging me out of there like some-"
He moved faster than she could track, his hand cupping the back of her neck, pulling her toward him. His mouth crashed against hers, hard and demanding, swallowing whatever protest she'd been about to make.
The kiss was brutal, desperate. Keifer's tongue swept inside, claiming her with every stroke, and Jay moaned into his mouth, her hands fisting in his shirt, pulling him closer despite every intention she'd had to push him away. All the anger, all the jealousy, all the burning need between them ignited at once, filling the car with heat that had nothing to do with the engine.
When he finally broke away, they were both breathing hard, their foreheads pressed together, his hand still firm against her neck.
"We are going home and continuing." He commanded
