On a random day
It was a cold, rainy day. In the morning, the air smelled like wet rocks, while raindrops fell gently,
The sound almost served as a lullaby for some people, including Ethan, who, as usual, rested his head on his desk.
By now, while waiting for the teacher, Ethan is trying to figure out a way to be more understanding to avoid misunderstandings and arguments
"Hmmmm, maybe I'll try to talk to people more. And try to be more interested."
(In Ethan's head: I should be fair with him, right? His efforts... 1 must let him know that I've changed. I'll try talking to people more and to overcome my insecurity.)
But Ethan didn't expect the results
Joah noticed the sudden changes in Ethan's expressions towards other people
At first Joah found it amusing that Ethan trying to talk to other people but to his surprise
Ethan manage to make friends who are guys, very different from his older friends which are all girls and barely talks to guys
but why Joah suddenly felt cheated?.
by the concept of them getting approached by Ethan while he barely gets any himself
"This is so unfair, I thought I was special to him, but why are you giving out the attention to some random student you met in just a few months ago??"
"While I worked HARD just to get a spare glance."
As Ethan sat being proud of himself for making a new friend
"whoa I've made a friend, and it's a guy, finally I have a male friend now."
For Ethan, this is a huge milestone in self-growth.
