Luke looked at Carson with bloodshot eyes he looked around and found himself in a cave Carson eating some kind of cooked meat and started asking all kinds of questions.
Luke said in a calm voice "ok listen all of us in academy were gathered in great Hall he the teachers were gonna force us to do quests"
After a pause he said "then suddenly our divination teacher kneeled and shoutes in pain that something bad is gonna happen"
He then looked at the cave walls as if remembering that day "we took him to infirmary nothing had happened then suddenly loud thunder crackled we tried to ignore it but-".
Carson shouted " But what?? "
Luke looked Carson in the eye then said "But nothing. "
He takes a pause then said "The sky turned raid and started raining but we realized soon it was blood then suddenly metior like things started falling from sky but after 5 more mins we realized they were towers which just fell from the sky on ground and didn't break "
"Teachers said it was some kind of large scale Teleportation magic did by some other worldly creature as it wants to wipe out humans" Luke continues to say about that day.
"I also hears them saying the other worldly creatures are mutating the beasts of viera making them stronger"
Luke then said with a sad voice "after that a tower fell on Academy monsters gushed out of it many 6th and 7th years along with teachers attacked those beasts within a day they cleared the tower it turned to dust and a assassin blade came out of it which was given to a 7th year student."
Lukes voice turned soemwhat determined as he said the next words "we then quickly packed soem food and left that place after walking for 10 days we reached to a secret cave where there was a teleportation circle"
"Many if us went some of us are still here trying to find survivors Dorkis and Rowan included the other kid was weak so they didn't allow his to stay few girls also stayed to look out for other along with the Headmaster"
Carson took time to process all the information then offered Luke the cooked meat.
Luke ate a bite then said "I don't eat wolf meat it sucks me somewhat-"
Caroans natched the meat piece saying "suit yourself"
Luke quickly gravved the last meat piece back saying "but in times like this I will eat it happily"
They both woke up next day first thing in the morning and Carson follows Luke towards the Cave trying to find a path back to his friends.
But the couldn't go forward anymore because they saw a giant hord of Mountain giants surrounding that place examining the dead one's.
Luke asked "we're the mountain giant always this smart? "
Carson said whispering back "you said it yourself idiot they are now somewhat mutated"
Luke chuckled "ah yah yah I said that that makes sense"
Then headed back to the the cave where they were hiding before.
Days passed but the giants didn't leave that place always patrolling that area.
One day Luke and Carson saw no more giants but Carson sensed it first traps everywhere.
He whispered worried "Luke turned back.
Luke looked at Carson and asked " What? "
Carson whispered " Sense it "
Luke was confused he tried to expand his senses to its maximum level and he sensed traps.
He then started to run back.
Carson wondered why he was running then relaised Like was talking lound and he also started running back.
From time to time Carson would use his shadow movement to be a bit faster.
They finally reached the Cave back.
They looked at each other in the eye and hoped the giants didn't follow them back here.
For the next two days they didn't went out and did nothing always on high alert and thankfully no giant came till now.
Then on the third day as they were about fo go out they sensed a group of mountain giants.
They expanded their senses which had developed a bit due to the strain of last few days.
There were four giants in total and they were all looking here and there.
Then the smallest looking giant pointed at the cave.
The other giants came towards the cave and tried to see inside it.
They couldn't see properly right then a fifth giant came with big boulders in his hand.
Then even before they could react the fifth giant threw those boulders towards the cave and just as it was about to hit the cave it got cut in mid air.
Luke came out holding two crossbows and Carson and no wepon so he transformed his hands into claws and came out looking at the giants.
The giants started laughing then one of them tried to smash Carson and Luke to death.
But Carson attacked at the giant tearing the giant from between it's neck.
Luke also transformed into werewold which will be under his control that transformation then hit the small giant with the arrows which hurnt it like hell then he threw them back and attacked going full beast mode.
The other three furious to see their companions die charged at the tow of them.
Carson said "If you want a fucking War I will give you an hell of a war "
As he said that the sky was looking red again and then a lound laugh was heard.
The sky remained like thatand Carson remember all the stances from the two basic sword volume.
He them combined all his knowledge and waved his hand in air.
A cut mark appeared on the giants body.
The cut wasn't too deep but not also small then giants fought through the pain coming to attack the two boys.
Then Carson remembered his anger and within a second he also transformed not fully but somewhat under control.
Unlike Luke his heart was hurting like hell.
Luke handled the the ones Whom Carson attacked before and Carson attacked the giant who was completely fine.
They did it fast as Luke who got first hand experience of how these string but simple minded creatures attack.
Carson on other hand sticked his hand inside it's belly and released his mana in the form of fire.
The giant's intenstines, liver , hestysnd even his bladder sstarted melting giving off a burnt smell.
Luke was kind off shocked by the way Carson killed it.
Luke asked "Carson do you think Viera will survive this? "
Carson looked at at Luke then said "maybe"
Luke and Carson both sighed.
Luke and Carson both transformed back to normal looked at each other for a bit then Luke grabbed his Crossbows and they started walking towards the cave where kids are actually hiding.
