Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 The Watchers in the Trees

The training ground was active.

Soldiers moved.

Weapons clashed.

Dust rose into the air.

Karna stood still.

Not moving.

Not training.

Just… staring.

Ram noticed.

"Karna."

No response.

He walked closer.

"What are you looking at?"

Karna didn't move.

His eyes were fixed on one point.

"There is someone…"

he said quietly.

"…watching us."

Ram's expression changed instantly.

"Where?"

Karna slowly raised his hand.

"There."

Ram followed his direction.

A tall tree.

Still.

Silent.

For a moment…

Nothing.

Then—

A slight movement.

Ram's voice turned cold.

"Soldiers!"

Within seconds, armed soldiers surrounded the area.

"Search that tree. Now."

The soldiers moved fast.

Weapons ready.

Eyes sharp.

Suddenly—

A figure jumped down.

Then another.

Then three more.

"Spies!" one soldier shouted.

Without warning—

They attacked.

CLANG!

Steel met steel.

The battlefield came alive.

Ram stepped forward.

His presence alone pushed the enemies back.

"Capture them!" he ordered.

The fight was short.

But intense.

The spies were skilled.

Fast.

Silent.

But not enough.

Within minutes—

They were surrounded.

Pinned down.

Defeated.

Ram walked toward them slowly.

His eyes cold.

"Who sent you?"

No answer.

One of the spies smiled.

"You are already too late."

Ram grabbed him by the collar.

"Talk."

The spy stayed silent.

Shiva Sai arrived.

His gaze sharp.

"These are not normal spies."

Ram looked at him.

"I know."

He turned back to the soldiers.

"Take them."

"Lock them up."

"We will question them."

The soldiers nodded.

Dragging the captured spies away.

The training ground slowly calmed again.

But the tension remained.

Ram turned to Karna.

"You saw them before anyone else."

Karna nodded.

"They were there for a long time."

Ram's eyes narrowed.

"…and you felt them."

Karna didn't reply.

Shiva Sai looked at the boy carefully.

Now he was sure.

This child…

Was not just powerful.

He could sense danger.

Before it even began.

Far away…

Someone watched.

And smiled.

"They've noticed," he said softly.

"Good."
