Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Among the Powerful

Night had fallen.

The city lights shined brightly.

Ram stood ready.

Dressed sharply.

Calm as always.

Beside him—

Karna.

Wearing new clothes.

Looking curious.

"…Are we going now?" Karna asked.

Ram nodded.

"Yes."

They stepped outside.

Luxury cars stood in a long line.

Different models.

All expensive.

Karna's eyes widened.

"…Why do we have so many cars?"

Ram gave a small smile.

"Because my father built influence."

Karna looked impressed.

"…Is the General the most powerful in the world?"

Ram paused for a second.

"…Not the world."

"…But here… his influence is unmatched."

Karna nodded slowly.

Ram chose one car.

The best among them.

They got in.

The engine roared.

And they left for the party.

After some time—

They arrived.

A grand luxury hotel.

Lights everywhere.

Security tight.

Expensive cars lined outside.

Inside—

Music.

Laughter.

Powerful people.

Businessmen.

Politicians.

VIP guests.

Karna looked around.

"…This is different," he said softly.

Ram didn't respond.

He was observing everything.

As they entered—

A security guard stepped forward.

"Sir, we need to check—"

Before he could finish—

Ram's eyes turned cold.

"…Don't touch me."

The guard froze.

Tension filled the air.

Another VIP guest quickly approached.

"Is there any problem, sir?" he asked politely.

Ram looked at the guard.

"He tried to check me."

The guest's expression changed instantly.

He turned to the security.

"Do you even know who he is?"

Silence.

"He is the son of General Shiva Sai."

The guards stepped back immediately.

Fear visible.

"If you touch him…"

"…you won't leave this place alive."

The guards lowered their heads.

"Sorry, sir."

Ram walked past them.

Without another word.

Karna followed.

Watching everything carefully.

Inside the hall—

The atmosphere shifted.

Music played softly.

People laughed.

Glasses clinked.

But beneath it—

Influence moved silently.

As soon as Ram entered—

Attention turned.

Whispers spread.

"He's here…"

"General's son…"

Several VIPs approached him.

"Mr. Ram, welcome."

"Good to see you."

Ram nodded slightly.

No excitement.

No hesitation.

This world—

Was normal to him.

Karna stood beside him.

Listening.

Learning.

Ram began speaking with a group of businessmen.

"One thing most people misunderstand," Ram said calmly,

"is that growth is not the first step."

They listened carefully.

"First comes stability."

"If businesses feel safe, money starts flowing naturally."

One businessman asked,

"So you're focusing on control?"

Ram shook his head slightly.

"Not control… structure."

Silence.

"If the system is strong, even small businesses grow."

Another man leaned forward.

"And your plan?"

Ram replied without hesitation—

"Reduce unnecessary conflict."

"Build trust."

"And make the market predictable."

The man smiled.

"That sounds long-term."

Ram looked at him calmly.

"Short-term profit creates noise."

"Long-term systems create influence."

Karna stood beside him.

Listening carefully.

For the first time—

He didn't see Ram as just strong.

He saw him as something more.

A leader.

Across the hall—

A woman stood still.

Watching.

Her eyes fixed on Ram.

She didn't move.

Didn't speak.

Just observed.

No fear.

No hesitation.

Only recognition.

Karna noticed her.

But said nothing.

Ram continued his conversations.

"Your approach to the market is impressive," a VIP said.

"It's just the beginning," Ram replied.

"Then we should work together."

Ram paused.

He studied the man carefully.

"…We'll discuss."

People continued approaching him.

One by one.

Some wanted partnerships.

Some wanted protection.

Some wanted access.

Ram handled all of them.

Calm.

Precise.

From the distance—

The woman still watched.

Her expression didn't change.

But her eyes softened slightly.

As if she had been waiting.

The music continued.

The night moved forward.

But beneath the lights and smiles—

A silent tension existed.

Unseen by most.

But not by her.

And not by Ram.

Because somewhere deep—

Both of them knew—

This meeting…

Was not a coincidence.
