Chapter 41: Bloody Punishment
Vanessa's Point of View.....
We are all here in the gymnasium, not just those from the cafeteria earlier, but all the students of HU and the SSG Council, except Zein, whom we don't know where Supremo took her. We didn't look for her because we trust Supremo Ace. I know he won't neglect our friend.
I heard Matt's low curse again while looking at the floor. He almost went crazy earlier when he learned what happened to Zein. Even me, I'm holding back tightly; I might just slam the faces of all the students involved earlier against the wall, especially that fking Roxane and the bch Angelica. F**k them.
"How is Zein doing?" I heard Mia ask again, looking dazed.
"She will be fine. Supremo is with her."
I couldn't help but smile that even though Matt is Ace's rival for Zein's heart, he still trusts him. He didn't even think about interfering with the two, which other guys usually do. Well, Matt is different from them; he knows what is best for Zein.
"I can't take it anymore!" Roxane shouted, standing at the very front. "Why are we afraid of that guy?!" She added, which made me laugh.
Despite all her bravado, I can still clearly see the fear in her eyes. B**ch, pay for your debt.
"Watch your words, Roxane." Angel warned, standing up beside her too.
"Why?! Oh! It's your fault then! You want Zein dead so you can have Supremo all to yourself." Roxane slapped Angel.
So that's why, Demonic Angelica. You know you have no chance against Zein in Ace's heart, so you tried to kill her. You're pathetic, you don't know how to fight fair—Oh well, even if you fight fair, you'll still lose to Zein Shion, you're nothing compared to her.
"How dare you?! I am the Queen here!"
They started pulling each other's hair. Go ahead, hurt each other, but don't kill each other yet, okay? I still want to see you suffer and work hard for your blasphemy against my friend, the most important person of one of the highest in HU.
They all froze when the men in black masks entered. Tangina! What is this? Why is the Black Blood Gang here?! What are they doing here?!
At the very end was Nazzer Lumia without a mask. He paused briefly and looked at us—it looks like he's looking at Matt. He smirked before continuing to walk.
Roxane and Angelica fell silent, not talking to each other now.
The presence of these men in black masks is really heavy, especially Nazzer Lumia, who is smirking at the students who can't look at them straight. If you look at him, he's just a simple student, very innocent, but don't look into his eyes because you'll see the demon lurking in the innocent body of this guy.
"What did you do?" He asked everyone with a laugh mixed with intimidation. "Why did you make her angry anyway? Tsk tsk." He even shook his head.
What is he talking about?
"Oh well, if you saw Supremo earlier? You'd all be in trouble." The guy with the red hair beside Nazzer cackled, which made Nazzer give him a dirty look and silence him.
Did Supremo send them here? But why? What is he planning that he needs to bring in the BBG?
I also noticed a long-haired girl beside Nazzer. She was masked too, but I know her deep dark eyes are looking at us.
Everyone's jaw dropped when they saw the red-masked people entering the gymnasium.
"What the—Devil God Warrior?!" Mia blurted out.
My mouth remained shut while staring at a guy at the front. Raze.
Roxane stood up and hugged Raze who stopped.
"Good thing you came. Save me." She said to Raze who had no reaction at all.
Her pretense also came out. She's very scared of what Ace might do to her. She should be, tremble.
"Sorry. I can't do anything about this." He answered.
I smirked when I saw Roxane just stomping her feet in disappointment and running out of the gymnasium.
I was about to stand up to chase her when I saw who was now in front of the gymnasium entrance and blocking the way. He looks so damn scary as s**t. His tremendous presence is covering the whole gymnasium.
"S-Supremo."
"Go back." He ordered coldly, which Roxane did.
Supremo continued walking to the very front. The BBG was on his left and the DGW on his side. He is in between the two gangs. It looks like he is leading these two gangs now. Damn! How do you make them obey?
"Supremo. Sorry." Angelica said, tearing up.
Sorry your ass b**ch.
"I don't need your sorry. I want you to pay for your debt." Supremo responded coldly w ithout looking at her.
She wailed and sat down on her chair.
Such drama. Cry all you want, until you can only shed blood. You made Zein bleed, so blood will be the exchange. Her life was in danger, your lives will be the exchange.
"Now, I want to hear your punishment, Supremo. How harsh?"
"All of the students who are involved on the commotion earlier at the cafeteria. You know who you are, stand up now."
Everyone had no choice but to stand up. Mia and I didn't stand up because we weren't involved, we were just victims too.
Roxane stood up in annoyance. "Who are you to order us around?! I am the Queen!" Roxane yelled.
"Not anymore." Supremo replied with a smirk, which made Roxane's jaw drop.
I chuckled, and she turned to look at me. Her teeth gritted as she gave me a dirty look. Come on, approach me. Tangina mo (You bastard) I'm so eager to get you.
"I am giving the crown to Zein Shion as the new Queen of Hell University." He said, which made our jaws drop.
I couldn't believe it. Zein Shion, Queen of Hell University? Damn! How far she is now? She is above us now.
"W-What? You can't do this." Roxane said in disbelief, trembling with anger.
"Of course I can. I put you in power, I can take you out." He replied with a smirk, but you could tell from his smirk that he was still blazing with anger.
"I declare the new King of Hell University as Matthew Hart." Raze said, which made our jaws drop even further.
Supremo wasn't surprised by what Raze said, as if he expected it.
I looked at Matt who had no reaction at all.
"I have the new list of the Highest 10 now." Supremo said while showing a piece of paper in his hand.
I don't know why but I have an unbelievable hunch about this Highest 10. What is this now?
"I am now in the highest among the rest." Supremo said, which stopped everyone.
Supremo Ace Craige is now leading the entire Hell University. How awesome he is?
"Next to me is Raze Silvenia, the leader of Devil God Warrior."
"The pleasure is mine, Supremo." He bowed a little to Supremo.
He made the DGW leader bow down. Tangina naman! (Damn it!) Why does Supremo seem so high up? Is being the SSG President really that powerful? Can he command anyone?
"In the third place is Nazzer Lumia."
He just bowed a little.
"Next to him is the new Queen of Hell University, the Secretary of the Supreme Student Government. From the 9th place, Miss Zein Shion is now on the 4th rank which is the previous place of Mister Rouge Silvenia."
I can't do anything but to curse. She is not just an ordinary student now, Zein Shion is now one of the Highest here and I am proud to say. "She's our friend!
No matter how much you try to bring her down, you're only lifting her up.
"Thank you, ah?" I yelled, which made all of them look at me.
Proudly, I stood up in front of them. Why not? My friend is the Queen, the 4th Highest Student, the SSG Secretary. Who among her friends wouldn't be proud? Hmph!
"Sit down now, you're being a disturbance e." Jerome held me back so I just rolled my eyes at him and went back to sitting.
"5th is still the Supreme Student Government Vice President. Mister Onel Ty." Supremo said again while looking at Vice Ty who nodded at him.
"Thank you, Supremo." He said.
"Next is Mister Liam Rivera."
I gasped when Liam stood up in front and bowed to Supremo. He's part of the Highest 10 too? How come?
"Show off." Jerome whispered.
"In the 7th place is the new King of Hell University, the co-leader of Black Blood Gang. Mister Matthew Hart."
I really gasped literally now. Matt? He's in 7th place now?
About his being the Black Blood Gang co-leader, he admitted it to us and also told us his purpose. He joined the Gang for the sake of Zein.
Nazzer saw Matt's potential, his literal strength and bravery so he encouraged Matt to join them in exchange for Zein's safety. As long as Matt is a member of BBG, Zein is protected by BBG. She's so lucky.
Matt stood up and went to the front. We were all looking at him. He bowed to Supremo and they talked for a bit. I saw a smile form on Supremo's lips before Matt went back to us, still quiet.
"Next is Miss Fritzy Saldivar. The former SSG Secretary."
Fritzy stood up from the crowd and waved to everyone. "I'll really be a slave to Zein Shion. Imagine? She is still a newbie but managed to join the highest, and even better... Queen of Hell University too!" She yelled while looking at Roxane who just rolled her eyes at her.
I couldn't help but laugh a little. Even though she's a bit of a bitch, you know she's true to herself and doesn't need to pretend to be an angel like someone else there. Hmph!
"Next is Nicky Colt, the Queen of Black Blood Gang."
The woman beside Nazzer took off her mask and made out with Nazzer.
"Eww." I blurted out.
"Boss naman (Boss, please). Can you make out later? We're in public. Live." Said the red-haired guy, laughing.
Nicky raised an eyebrow at him and he got a dirty look from Nazzer. He cleared his throat and moved away from the two.
"I said I wouldn't interfere anymore e." He added.
"Last but not the least. In the 10th place is Mister Jerome Marquez."
After Supremo said that, I just bowed my head. I felt Jerome look at me but I couldn't bring myself to look at him. I already know what he's hiding. Shit!
What's your reason anyway? Tell me so I'm not this confused.
"Now."
After Supremo said that, all of our attention went back to him. A chilling smile formed on his lips and he scanned the students who were standing up, the students who were involved in disrespecting Zein.
"W-What are you going to do to us, Supremo?" Angelica asked, trembling.
"Listen, Black Blood Gang and Devil God Warrior."
He started. "Memorize the faces of everyone standing here. They will be your target for the next 1 week. I don't care if it is a day time, I don't give a shit if it is not a bloody night. You will not touch anyone else but everyone standing here, if you ask if you can kill one of them? Yes, of course."
Some students sat down as if they couldn't believe the consequence for a mistake they made. I knew it. Blood for blood, life for life. You will pay more than what you did for your sin. I warned you that you don't know who you are fighting but you didn't listen to me, now, the gangs will not leave you alone. Your lives are in danger.
"This is a punishment for all of you and this is an order from the highest Supreme Student Government. Dismiss."
