Chapter 1: Uchiha's Daily Life: A Shadow of Humiliation
Konoha, Uchiha Clan Territory.
In an antique-style study, an old man and a young boy sat facing each other.
Uchiha Shana, the Grand Elder of the most powerful clan in the Shinobi World, looked with satisfaction at his handsome eldest grandson with his sharp eyebrows and piercing eyes, and spoke slowly.
"Anran, Sarutobi Monkey has convened another Jounin Council. It seems the Senju branch is on the verge of collapse on the front lines."
This stern-faced, defiant-looking man, nearing sixty years of age, showed not the slightest respect in his words—or between the lines—for Sarutobi Hiruzen, the Hokage of Konoha, one of the Five Great Shinobi Villages.
As he spoke, his eyes betrayed clear contempt and disdain.
He snorted coldly, "If the position of Hokage had fallen to my Uchiha clan, we would never have allowed the other ninja villages to run amok! What a bunch of incompetents!"
"If it hadn't been for Mito Uzumaki's stubbornness back then, Sarutobi and his lot should have been sent to the interrogation chamber. Who knows, perhaps it was they who caused the death of that evil Tobirama Senju!"
At this, Uchiha Shisane let out a derisive snort. "The Second Hokage fell in battle, yet the Shadow Guard—who were supposed to protect the Hokage—returned to the village unscathed after being pursued by the Cloud Village, and they even produced a Third Hokage!"
"The prestigious position of Hokage was privately bestowed by the Senju clan. It's utterly ridiculous and utterly outrageous!"
In the Village of Konoha, the position of Hokage is first determined by a shortlist drawn up by the higher-ups, then voted on by all active jōnin in the village, and finally reported to the Daimyō of the Land of Fire for confirmation of the final candidate.
Unfortunately, the Uchiha clan—openly suppressed by the Senju faction—couldn't even clear the first hurdle, despite their formidable strength.
So, when you're out in the world, you can't just go around beating everyone up—you've got to consider your background.
Watching his grandfather once again engage in his daily habit of disparaging the Hokage, Uchiha Anran had long since grown accustomed to it.
He slowly lifted the teacup in front of him, his expression one of complete indifference.
He took a light sip of tea. His piercing black-and-white eyes gazed out at the blue sky and white clouds beyond the window, and he couldn't help but fall into deep thought.
Or, to be more precise, he had entered the Sharingan space—a sort of "god mode" ability born from his transmigration.
There were no points of reference here. In this void where up, down, left, and right were indistinguishable, only a pale-blue stone door stood.
The stone door stood firmly shut, devoid of any ornamentation, exuding an air of rustic solemnity.
"The great war is approaching. I hope I can find something good today!"
Uchiha Anlan placed his hand on the door with practiced ease, simultaneously channeling the power of his Sharingan into it.
A faint glow illuminated the door, revealing winding patterns that intertwined, their beginnings and ends connected by faint, indistinct characters.
"Ever since my Sharingan awakened, I've been channeling my Sharingan power into this stone door for over a decade, yet the path to truly opening this pale-blue stone gate remains long and arduous."
Uchiha Anlan gazed at the ancient patterns on the stone gate and sighed inwardly.
Having lived two lifetimes, he had awakened his Sharingan at the age of six and was now eighteen.
With his Kage-level strength, he had become one of the leaders among the younger generation of his clan.
Meanwhile, he had been channeling Sharingan power into the stone gate day and night, and the patterns had already spread across more than half of the gate's surface.
But at the current pace, it would take at least another ten years for the patterns to cover the entire stone gate.
'Only by evolving the Sharingan into the Mangekyō Sharingan and possessing more and higher-quality Sharingan power can I speed up the process.'
As Uchiha Anlan pondered, a faint glow emanated from the stone gate, coalescing into a bubble that floated before his eyes.
Glancing at it, he could see an intriguing object floating inside.
Outwardly, it resembled a slender, sensual woman wearing a form-fitting skirt.
Yet the woman was covered in blood; even her eyeballs were hanging from their sockets, and a large chunk of flesh had been torn from her neck.
Her limbs were twisting and writhing, and she let out a silent, blood-curdling scream through her gaping, blood-soaked mouth.
"I never expected zombies to show up. I really have no idea what kind of 'surprises' await me once the Stone Gate truly opens."
Although Uchiha Anlan had long known that the items obtained from the Stone Gate were entirely random and completely unreliable,
At first, he'd draw everything from erotic novels to roadside weeds, but as his Sharingan gem upgraded, the items appearing in the bubble gradually became more practical.
For instance, the Nichirin Blade from the *Demon Slayer* universe, and the magic from the *Funeral of Frillien* world—which he could learn and wield using the power of his mutated Sharingan.
To this day, aside from living creatures, all sorts of random things can be drawn from it.
However, the extreme randomness means that the items born from the Stone Gate over the years haven't had much of a positive impact on Uchiha Anran.
He hasn't been able to achieve the same feats as his fellow time-travelers—becoming a Jounin at three, reaching Kage-level at five, and entering the Six Paths at seven.
Getting good loot depends entirely on one's own luck.
[Item: Corpse]
[Evaluation: A corpse from another world; only the genetic virus within it holds some value]
[Origin: School Apocalypse]
"Ugh, Boob-Shaking Apocalypse. If I had a capable research team, this might actually come in handy."
"If it shared the same universe as [Resident Evil] or even [Infinite], I could extract the T-virus and unlock the human genetic code—that would be a massive windfall."
As the information in the bubble flashed by, Uchiha Anlan's eyes gleamed.
His mind drifted to the Naruto universe and those exceptionally brilliant scientists and medical experts.
He temporarily set aside the idea of drawing blood from the zombies and finding someone to test the evolution with a single injection, placing the bubble containing the zombie to one side.
After finishing his daily blood draw, Uchiha Anlan's consciousness returned to his body. He saw his grandfather, who had just finished his daily shadow training, take a sip of tea to moisten his throat before fixing his slightly clouded gaze upon him.
After a moment's thought, he spoke, "Following the Jounin Assembly, Sarutobi and the Clan Leader held a private meeting. They hope our clan will head to the eastern front to guard against the restless Kirigakure. Anran, what are your thoughts?"
"My thoughts?"
Uchiha Anran pondered for a moment, then asked in return, "That depends on what our clan's demands are and what circumstances we'll face."
"Oh? Tell me more."
Uchiha Shana chuckled softly, his gaze fixed intently on his fine grandson.
Strong in combat, shrewd in strategy, and quick-witted.
Compared to the clan leader's son, Uchiha Fugaku—who was clearly dull-witted at first glance—he was incomparably superior.
'That indecisive brat isn't fit to stand in Anlan's way of becoming clan leader. Ridiculous!' Uchiha Shana thought contemptuously to himself.
My grandson has what it takes to be clan leader!
But upon hearing Uchiha Anran's next words, the slight smile on his lips faded.
"Grandfather, as long as Sarutobi Hiruzen and others whose minds have been poisoned by Senju Tobirama remain in Konoha's upper echelons, our clan's long-held aspiration to become Hokage will inevitably remain unfulfilled."
Noticing the Elder's face twitch slightly, Uchiha Anran remained impassive, pausing briefly before continuing.
"Therefore, rather than pursuing the unrealistic position of Hokage, we should seize every advantage Sarutobi Hiruzen has to offer."
"The growth of our clan is far more important than the Hokage title—a mere castle in the air!"
