Scorching flames, crashing against the area as Andromeda Hovers Victorious, her hand still pointed at the two presumably burnt corpses.
"Finally I've won"
Unknown to her as the flames rage on a shield of magic is covering both Kaiser and Zoephelia.
Andromeda turns away and flies off to wherever
The fire finally subsides Kaiser and Zoephelia are still laying on the ground bleeding out from their wounds, both looking at the clear sky.
"This isn't how I planned to kill you"
Kaiser huffs and just looks towards the sky and contemplates where he went wrong in the previous fight.
"i guess I could have tried to destroy your spear to make you back off, maybe I would haven't gotten back stabbed"
Zoephelia turns to him with a confused look and grabs a rock to throw at him.
"Asshole I'll kill you"
Kaiser huffs again and just keeps staring blankly into the sky until a silhouette appears blocking the sun
Zoephelia sits up, her shoulder still split in half, she reaches her arm across to try and hold it somewhat in place.
"Who the hell are you supposed to be ?"
Kaiser, still laying down, attempts to roll over before the woman grabs his leg and also grabs Zoephelia by her leg.
"I've been requested by Her Majesty to bring you two back."
Zoephelia looks and realizes she's an extremely muscular woman, her arms covered in scars and dried blood.
"I'm not going anywhere with-
The woman grabs her and throws her over her shoulder, then she grabs Kaiser and carries him at her waist.
"The queen requested me of this you will oblige even if I have to kill you to do so"
Kaiser laughs a bit then asks her.
"Would you kill me? If you had to complete her request"
The woman stops.
"That is not funny you are the crown Prince I would never harm you, in a rescue request, besides the queen is not happy with the past few events"
"But the angel I'd kill her if requested but that has not been asked of me yet quite the opposite for now"
The woman slightly tightens her grip on the two before jumping, launching all three of them through the air crossing the entirety of the golden city in a single leap.
Landing outside the cities walls she sprints forward and jumps again an explosion goes off covering them in smoke.
"Who dares to attack ME"
Turning around she spots a Squad of Elves flying towards them their magic already roaring towards the trio
Her face contorts into a crooked smile as her eyes glow red.
"Let's see if you can make me bleed!"
She flies forward with the two teens still in her arms, before she can get closer a portal opens in her path teleporting them into a throne room.
"Mai'e"
The muscular woman stands up instantly at attention, her grip on the two teens not faltering.
Kaeya walks down the steps to the three of them, the royal guards all standing in two lines on each side.
"Heal them now."
Two royal guards step out of line and begin to heal the two teens who were still heavily injured from their fighting
"I truly can't believe this"
Kaiser's face contorts in anger and he looks down at the ground
"Oh you're angry are you?"
Kaeya steps to him and kneels down to talk directly in his face.
"I am extremely irritated having to clean up another mess of yours"
Her aura exploding throughout the room Kaiser is slammed facedown trying his best to stand under the immense pressure.
"My queen please calm down"
Priscilla appears with blood on her hands.
"My queen I think you should calm down I believe he has learned enough for now"
Kaeya reels in her power and Kaiser is able to get back to a kneeling position looking up, his eyes still filled with a fire she can't describe.
"You my son are an arrogant demon to still look at me with such fire"
Kaiser huffs then lifts his hand.
"I am the prince I must prove myself constantly yet to you I haven't proved anything once"
Zoephelia, now standing, looks around and tries to walk away only to be grabbed by Mai'e and brought back to the spot they first arrived.
"I do this to further my position to prove that I am worthy of everything here yet every opportunity"
Kaeya grabs him by the shoulders looking into his eyes.
"And yet you've failed every time , you've failed because of one thing and yet you don't even realize it"
Priscilla wiping the blood off her hands clears her throat to grab everyone's attention.
"My queen, we have matters to discuss with the Angels 'parents" would you like to go now or reschedule?"
Kaeya, stepping away from Kaiser, looks at Zoephelia studying her for a few seconds.
"I believe it can wait they'll understand why she isn't back yet from just a quick message im sure"
Storming up to Kaeya and Priscilla Zoephelia cursing words not understood by anyone.
"i demand to be sent home my mission isn't-"
Kaeya lifts her hand silence
Poking her finger into the chest armor of Priscilla after each word
Kaeya raises her eyebrows at the boldness of Zoephelia to even do that.
"Why is this so precious to you hmm? You went to the Golden city destroying any and everything you could for weeks."
Zoephelia, still staring the two women down sighs deeply and sits down on the ground.
" I've been trying to find Angelic relics that have been stolen from us thousands of years ago, I'm the only one who's come close to even recovering one. The elves Had one and I needed it , we Needed it"
"The angels we aren't in the greatest position currently our relics are gone, we're fighting an ongoing war with the orcs and on the verge of war with the Elves, getting these back would not only benefit our leaders but our entire people we'd be able to finally help instead of being handicapped"
Kaeya and Priscilla, listening to her story finally get it they understand her immediately and stop her.
"You care about everyone don't you, you don't want a single Angel to suffer hmm? That's why you're trying so hard, it's a matter of survival getting those relics back"
Zoephelia sighs and stands a visible frown on her face.
Priscilla walks over and puts her hands gently on her shoulders.
"You will not fail, you understand, yes? In fact I think a perfect person to help you In your future endeavors is currently here"
Kaiser, who is talking to Mai'e about different battles, is extremely invested in their conversation paying no attention to what's happening.
"Do you think that's wise Priscilla, Kaiser barely helps around here as it is he'll only help when it benefits himself or his name"
Kaiser after hearing his name perks up looking to see who called him.
"It'll be fine"
Priscilla sighs then looks back at Zoephelia who has a look of worry and confusion
"We'll figure something out but for now we have a room waiting for you if you wish to rest for the rest of the day after your battles"
Nodding her head she begins to walk off before stopping realizing she had no clue where she would be going.
"So um where would this room be if I may ask"
Kaeya snaps her fingers and the throne room goes silent as everyone snaps their attention to her to hear the announcement.
"Listen now and reply later , we have a guest staying with us , treat her as one of our own understood? Next Kaiser show her to the guest room"
Letting her hand fall everyone replies yes Ma'am and begin moving to continue their earlier tasks.
A few minutes later
Kaiser and Zoephelia are walking through a hallway, a deep silence between them as he leads her to her room walking quickly to get away from her as quickly as possible.
Zoephelia quietly following along with the silence says nothing as she overlooks the demon's appearance, jet black hair, a gray shirt and black pants with steel boots,multiple belts hanging around his waist, his choice of attire kinda depressing but clothing at least.
Deciding to cut the silence Zoephelia begins to talk
"So-
"Please don't talk I've had enough of your talking for one day , you're extremely annoying"
Zoephelia, offended at the insult, becomes angry and stops walking her arms crossed.
"Still upset I kicked your ass huh? I'd be upset too if I thought I was hot shit and got beat by a girl"
Kaiser stops and turns around his eyes narrowed and glowing red.
"You can do your glowy eye thing. I'm not scared of you at all, Demon I'll kill you where you stand!"
Kaiser walks towards Zoephelia, his shadow growing larger behind him.
"You couldn't kill me even if I was dead, you flying rat"
Zoephelia scoffs and shifts her weight to her other leg, her expression one of complete disbelief.
"Don't forget if not for that Andra or andro whatever her name is you'd be dead right now"
Kaiser quickly forms his sword and swings it expecting to slash her only for her to be behind him her finger pointed at his head lightning dancing around her finger.
"If I let this go you're dead and then I'd have to explain to Heaven why the demons want war"
"Now take me to my room I've had enough of your games, we've been walking around in circles the last few minutes"
Removing her finger from the back of his head she steps back allowing him to turn around and finally begin the way to the guest room.
Going past the various rooms, and closets they finally come to a double door with an intricate carving on each door making the silhouette of a demon, when closed.
"This is where you will be staying here, id say make yourself at home but I'd rather you have an awful time here"
Zoephelia just rolls her eyes at his animosity and steps into the room scanning it for any exits or even entries, the room is decorated with old styled furniture and multiple bookcases and a window overlooking the castle courtyard and a view to the village below.
Kaiser, still leaning on the door, just crossed his arms waiting for her to be done with her little inspection of the room.
"Are you good now I need to leave the air around you is just suffocating it makes me sick"
Zoephelia, still looking out the window, only laughs then turns around.
"You're an asshole, yes? Don't worry I know the answer and for the record I'm ok you can take your dirty boots and ragged shirt out of here"
Kaiser narrows his eyes then walks off before hearing Zoephelia say one thing to annoy him.
"Don't crack any mirrors with that face of yours id imagine it's hard not to "
Her laugh echoes through the hall as he just walks off heading towards his own room, a few turns and a few more halls down he reaches his room the door covered in shadows chains holding it in place.
Thrusting his hand forward the chains latch onto his hand then the shadows dissipate and the door opens revealing his room, hundreds of books on the floor with a desk also littered with books.
Taking his damaged clothing off he switches Into more comfortable clothing, sitting at his desk there's papers laid out detailing his failures and successes more failures than he'd like to admit grabbing a pen he begins to write another for the mission failed pile his fist clenching in anger and disappointment in himself he begins to write on a new sheet
"six months I've been doing my own operations and yet I still caught by no major progress on anything, even the slave trade I've discovered the elven royal family is to blame but what can I do by myself, no I must do this by myself."
Kaiser sighs then begins writing again.
"Andromeda, an ally that turned into an enemy that I trusted too quickly, I assume Mother and Priscilla suspected her intentions yet I was completely blind to them and followed her like a dog. Another failure of mine"
Putting the pen down he steps away from his desk stretching slightly as he attempts to walk back a knock on his door stops his train of thought.
"Come in"
The door opens and Priscilla and Mai'e walk through the door both in casual clothing.
"Little Prince I see you're once again writing in your notes, this time something good?"
Mae'i with her short hair barges in and just flops onto his chair ignoring the books in the seat.
"You've had such terrible luck hahahahaha first you blow a crater In the Golden city and next you get your ass handed to you by the angel girl"
Kaiser throws a book at mai'e who is too busy laughing to notice it heading directly to her face, only for it to be caught by Priscilla.
"Mai'e stop it we are not here for that we're here to tell you about what's going to happen in the next few days"
Kaiser, now curious about what was so important, sits back at his desk this time the chair turned around to listen.
"We have decided to assist Heaven in their war against the orcs.The queen has decided we will be sending a strike team to help them, and you will lead. This is your chance to show you can do more than fail, that you can lead and that you can grow"
Kaiser after hearing this just sits back down and contemplates the information as a huge opportunity drops itself in front of him.
"If you need a few days to think over it you know where to find us."
Priscilla and Mai'e stand and walk out of his room shutting the door leaving him to his thoughts.
