[Something] was once again trying to take root in Satya's mind,
But this time it was blocked by the inevitable force of the ancient walls.
Satya looked back at the invisible barrier to see what had chased him, upon realizing the identity of that being, he broke out in a cold sweat.
It was [The Human Sketch].
Remembering the encounter and its chase made Satya wary and fearful of it.
"Was it following us from the start, if so why didn't it attack us?"
Many questions popped out in Satya's mind yet a few escaped his mouth
[It was following us from the beginning, but I was always there to repel it]
A voice resounded with a clear ring in Satya's head.
Satya is startled by the voice.
"Wh..who are you?"
Satya asked, looking around.
"Your companion, The Shadow of a lonely horizon"
The Shadow answered carefully, in order not to startle Satya too much.
The Shadow seemed afraid of creating too much traction in this enclosed town.
As if afraid of disturbing the beings within.
"How can you speak inside my mind or were you always able to do that"
Satya asked still looking at the figure of
[The Human Sketch] , which was ever changing and still crashing against the barrier,
Sometimes like a human,
Sometimes like a beast.
But one thing was evident, it was filled with anger to the brim.
[Since we are both connected now, we can talk to each other via inner thoughts]
[Like this]
[Mhm....]
Just as the Shadow was about to say something else, Satya felt a strange sensation in his head.
At first, it was like a minor headache, then it developed into pain, unbearable pain.
Like something was being imprinted inside his head.
But to Satya, this inhumane pain seemed somewhat bearable, so he focused on what was being imprinted.
It seemed like a kind of guideline.
{Oh pitiful being with a heart, you have stepped in a place devoid of humans for centuries, yet populated by [The Others].
This town, which once used to be
[The First Ascension] to the realm of divinity, is now filled with fissures of reality.
You are neither this town's saviour nor do you have enough power to be.
This town is brimming with the dangers of imagination that don't even need to be looked at, to be dangerous to thee.
Though it is in ruins,
[The First Ascension] is the last line of defense against [IT].
There may be knowledge beneficial to you, such as spells and their manifestation, scattered throughout this town.
They may help you withstand even meeting [IT].
But Beware, for the other ones wanna assimilate everything to [IT].
Here are the seven guidelines to survive
[The First Ascension]
[The First Ascension] is always covered by a translucent white fog, that cannot be pierced by the naked eye. This Fog is for your safety, so never under any circumstances try to keep it away.
If you meet any human beings within [The First Ascension], always look for their Shadow, if they don't have one they are forever residents of [The First Ascension] so treat them just like a normal human and never let them take seed in your mind.
There is no day and night in [The First Ascension] it is always covered by a thick white fog which makes it seem like it's always day. So if under any circumstances the world becomes dark, quickly get near a light source.
Always knock three times at any house and ask for permission to sleep inside, wait and if a response comes, run away. Only if there isn't any response are you welcome to sleep inside.
In this town of eternal whiteness, only the Shadows are your hiding spots. But Beware, for if you remain in their embrace for too long, you may forever hide in their embrace.
You shouldn't look at any being of this town directly, Because if they notice the gaze of a living person, they may forever turn you into one of them.
The only safe haven in this town is [The Shrine]. It has a book to help with resistance against the temptations of [The Others]. There are also basic spells scattered throughout the town that may help you.
Thus are the guidelines to survive [The First Ascension] , should you fall victim to [The Others], you may suffer a fate worse than death.
There may happen many unexpected situations but those are to be dealt with by you under your scrutiny.
Good luck, traveller. This journey for the lost and forbidden knowledge may give you what you want.
This has been a guideline for the travellers unlucky enough to stumble here.
This is the final mercy of [The Final Protector].
Whether this will turn out good or bad depends on yourself, so brace yourself.
May [Reality] be with you.}
