The office fell into complete silence and Jude didn't move an inch as he looked at Violet as though he had never met her before
Violet slowly walked up towards the table
Her eyes moved from Jude to Betty and then back to Jude again
"What's going on here...?"
Nobody answered as the silence inside the office became unbearable and uncomfortable
Betty couldn't lift her head and Jude slowly folded his hands on the table
"Violet, I will ask you one question", he said
Then he took a deep breath
"...and I suggest that you answer truthfully", he added
Violet let out a forced laugh
"Big bro, you sound like you are interrogating me"
"Well, I am actually interrogating you", he said quickly
Violet's smile disappeared slowly as she placed her designer handbag on the chair
"So, what's exactly do you want to know or what exactly do you want me to tell you?"
Jude looked at her directly
"Well, nine years ago...."
