Bakugo and Deku burst onto the scene of the explosion in a blur of motion.
Blackwhip was still coiled tightly around Deku's arm, pulsing like a living thing, while Bakugo came to a halt beside him, smoke rising from his palms, sweat dripping from entire body from the use of his Explosion quirk.
But they were already late.
The street had turned into a frozen battlefield.
Ice crawled across the asphalt in jagged veins, swallowing cars, climbing streetlights, and creeping up the sides of nearby buildings. Smoke drifted through the frigid air, trapped between frost and scorched pavement.
"Took you long enough."
A calm voice cut through the chaos.
Shoto Todoroki stood ahead of them, one hand still raised. Ice cracked softly beneath his feet as he glanced over his shoulder, expression as unreadable as ever.
"What's the situation?" Deku asked immediately, his eyes already moving—analyzing, calculating.
"This guy is unstable," Todoroki replied. "I don't think it's a normal quirk."
Bakugo clicked his tongue sharply. "Tch. Then stop holding back and end this unstable loser."
Before anyone could respond—
BOOM!
Bakugo launched himself forward, explosions ripping through the air as he propelled himself like a missile straight toward the enemy.
"Eat this, you scum!"
He came in fast, arm cocked back, ready to smash the opponent's face in with overwhelming force.
Meanwhile, Deku didn't move immediately.
His eyes locked onto the battlefield, mind racing.
Something's off…
The civilians trapped at the edges of the chaos and the scattered debris, the unnatural spread of ice and chemical residue,
This wasn't just brute force.
But Bakugo was already in.
"Calm down, Kacchan!" Deku shouted, leaping forward with Blackwhip snapping behind him. "Don't rush in—we don't know how dangerous this guy is!"
The opponent shifted.
His body warped unnaturally, rippling like liquid under stress. Chemical elements twisted and fused across his form, hardening into shields one second, then lashing out as corrosive strikes the next.
Deku's eyes widened slightly.
He can morph… adapt… counter in real time?
And yet—
There's still something wrong.
Deku moved in, intercepting a strike aimed at a nearby car, redirecting it with a precise kick before it could hit fleeing civilians.
Across the battlefield, Bakugo and Todoroki stayed relentless.
Todoroki surged forward, ice erupting from his side in a massive wave.
CRACK!
His frozen strike slammed into the villain but shattered harmlessly.
Bakugo followed instantly.
A barrage of explosions rained down like artillery fire, each blast shaking the ground, but still the enemy stood firm.
"It's like this guy is ice-resistant," Todoroki said, narrowing his eyes. "Even your blasts aren't getting through, Bakugo."
Bakugo's grin widened with a wild expression,he was getting more excited.
"Then he hasn't had a taste of what I can really do yet."
He ignited another explosion beneath his feet, launching himself skyward.
"I'm the Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite!"
The air screamed as he dove back down.
"Eat THIS!"
BOOM!!!
A massive blast engulfed the area, flames tearing through the frozen battlefield in a violent eruption.
And still Something wasn't right, the villain even tho a bit scorched was still in agile motion.
Meanwhile…
Back in the classroom, the students of Class 1-A watched the battle unfold on the large screen.
Tension filled the room.
"They're not making progress…" one student muttered.
The villain wasn't going down.
No matter what they threw at him.
Ren, hovering slightly above the ground with his flight quirk eaned closer to the screen, eyes narrowing.
"Wait… something's off."
He replayed the movements in his head and the reactions, the timing, the structure of the attacks, everything.
Then it clicked.
"That's not just adaptation," Ren said suddenly. "There's a pattern, his body isn't resisting randomly… it's reacting to specific inputs!"
The class turned toward him.
"What do you mean?" someone asked.
Ren's expression sharpened. "It's like… his quirk is processing their attacks and countering based on composition, temperature, force, maybe even chemical structure."
A dangerous realization settled in.
"He's not just resisting them…" Ren said quietly.
"He's evolving against them."
The class rep, Tengen, the son of inginium didn't't hesitate.
"Then we don't have time to sit here."
Engines roared to life from his calves as he sprinted for the exit.
"I'm going to inform the pro heroes!"
In a flash, he was gone—
Racing straight toward the battlefield.
Tengen tore through the streets like a bullet, engines in his calves roaring at full power.
The ground blurred beneath him as he bolted each time faste
The shockwaves from the battlefield grew louder with every second—explosions, cracking ice, and something else… something unstable.
Then—
He arrived.
Tengen skidded to a halt at the edge of the frozen warzone, boots grinding against ice as he took in the destruction.

The ground blurred beneath him as he bolted each second faster than the last
The shockwaves from the battlefield grew louder with every second, explosions, cracking ice, and something else… something unstable.
Then...
He arrived.
Tengen skidded to a halt at the edge of the frozen warzone, boots grinding against ice as he took in the destruction.
Collapsed cars, Frozen pavement and Scorch buildings
And at the center of it all, Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki locked in a relentless battle against a shifting, unstable enemy.
"Midoriya!" Tengen shouted, sprinting forward. "Ren figured it out!"
Deku turned mid-motion, barely dodging a whip-like strike from the villain as Tengen closed the distance.
"What is it?!"
"It's not just resistant!" Tengen said quickly. "The villain's quirk it's reactive! He's analyzing your attacks and adapting based on their composition!"
Another explosion ripped through the air as Bakugo blasted backward, flipping and landing hard.
"Tch, spit it out faster!"
"He's countering temperature, force, everything!" Tengen continued. "The more you attack him the same way, the more immune he becomes!"
Todoroki's eyes sharpened. "So brute force won't work…"
Deku's mind raced.
Adaptive… reactive… composition-based evolution…
Then we need to overwhelm him before he can fully process it,
Or hit him with something unpredictable.
The villain's body pulsed violently, chemical layers shifting faster now, as if responding to their very thoughts.
Too fast…
Deku clenched his fists.
"We need to change the pattern" he said
Deku, Bakugo and Shoto stood side by side giving an iconic stance like those in movies and then shoto echoed with a calm but seemingly mischievous smile
"Looks like it's time for round three"
