Of course he knew a lot about the royal family of Leones. After all, he'd been transported into this exact novel world and had spent hours reading the details of the plot line back when it was just words on paper.
He knew about the hidden sickness, the secret betrayals, and the political wars that were about to tear the mainland apart.
But, of course, he had no intentions of telling them that since it would only do him more harm than good.
If he said he was from another world or that he knew the future because of a book, they wouldn't believe him anyway.
They would just think he was either completely insane or using some kind of dark, forbidden magic, which would only make them even more terrified of him.
Jacob opened his mouth to speak, ready to clear up the misunderstanding with a calm explanation and put this annoying teenager in his place using simple logic, but before a single sound could leave his throat, the air around them changed completely.
