The man in the shadows was seated behind his desk, going through several documents when his assistant entered the room.
"Sir."
The man looked up. "What is it?"
The assistant walked toward the desk. "Our men have located Celine."
The man's expression changed immediately. "You found her?"
"Yes, sir."
The man felt relieved hearing the news, as he did not like loose ends. "Where is she?"
"Our men intercepted the people moving her. They have taken her away from Kevin's men as you instructed."
A faint smile appeared on the man's face. "Good."
He leaned back in his chair. This was good progress. He never imagined that dealing with one woman would create so much trouble.
"Bring her here as soon as possible."
The assistant nodded. "Yes, sir."
He turned to leave when his phone suddenly rang.
He stopped.
The man in the shadows noticed the change in his expression. "Who is it?"
The assistant looked at the screen before answering.
