Chapter 7 - The Ancient Dracos

A sharp scarlet aura permeated the room, a woman was sitting beside a boy, laying her beautiful crystal hands on his chest.

The glowing made Morvadeus grunt, a pain he never felt before ran through him, beside him Cryduae was working hard treating him.

Her glowing hands used her clan secret technique. With her core energy running through her ley-lines directly on Morvadeus and back to her, she extracted the poison slowly.

The Avolse Primus which only her race could use. Normally it's forbidden to use on other living creatures, because it's used to kill. It removes the other energy forcefully, capable of taking their cultivation and even their life. That was their weapon they developed through the years, fighting different invading creatures.

Morvadeus's fate was lying in the woman's hands, the extracted energy poison was then assimilated in Cryduae's body, whose crystal energy attacked with ferocity making it disappear.

She looked apologetically at his sweat-beaded forehead, working fast to ensure his survival.

'This energy of his, he doesn't even have cultivation, but his power was already overpowering my branches, which were capable of holding five tons at least,' she sighed, amazed at this boy.

'He is an extraordinary child, making me curious of his origin and the world above,' her gaze admired the little child.

Looking at the ceiling of her room, her eyes full of longing, wondering at the wonders of his world.

The aura of Fusion Stage permeated the room, even the beds legs bent from it, as she tried to finish the treatment.

Morvadeus was dreaming, the pain disappeared and a peaceful feeling took over.

A majestic midnight black dragon, with stars in its open wingspan and beside him, a jade white dragon appeared, their heavy presence shook his heart.

One was the embodiment of destruction and the other the embodiment of creation.

They gazed at him, their pining eyes making him confused

'They are looking at me as they want to say something but they couldn't'

Suddenly, they disappeared and his nose began to tickle.

Grudgingly waking up, his blurry vision gazed at a tiny red creature on his chest.

Little angry that she woke him up from his dreams, he swatted her away, directly embedding into the crystal wall.

The comical sight as she slowly got out of it and fell down, made him laugh.

"Hi-hi-hi, that's what you get for hitting me before" he laughed feeling refreshed.

Looking at his now regenerated hand, surprise took him over.

'Did she heal me?' he wondered.

The screaming Cryduae, apparently surprised by his action, annoyed and amused at the brave kid, got up.

"He, is this how you treat someone who brought you back from the brink of death?"she asked with hands crossed staring at his eyes.

"You was the one who treated me?" Morvadeus' eyes looked at her, not believing it.

Looking at Morvadeus's gaze which fully looked down on her, her anger took the better and she started to transform gracefully.

The grinding sound of crystal sounded as she grew to a 1.7m tall woman, together with her lotus petal dress,

Morvadeus' mouth remained agape not believing that this tiny woman could transform.

She smirked and said

"You still dare to look down on me,hmph!"

The Crystallis race were born in Fusion Stage, their perfect core and ley lines would make them above the grounds; monsters between geniuses.

But they guarded without greed the Mortal World Core Energy, and listened to its voices.

The mysterious Core Energy was their creator, and gave them a task to guard it. Since then, he never spoke to them, and they respected his wishes.

Out of nowhere a chill ran down on their backs, feeling a ferocious aura permeating the whole city. A bloodlusting monster's gaze pierced the room looking at them, especially at Morvadeus.

Its starving gaze sharply pried at his being.

"What's this aura??,"Cryduae asked, curiously.

"The serpent went crazy, he wants to attack us," the panicky eyes of Cryunus shook.

Out of nowhere the whole city started to shake, the crystal animals ran, escaping from the bloodlust.. The whole barrier was encompassed by the massive tail with dark purple scales of the Serpent.

"Bring Morvadeus to me" a loud voice told Cryduae and Cryunus simultaneously.

"Follow my lead child, don't worry. The serpent won't be able to break in," he hastily said to him, while gently comforting with his words.

Morvadeus was mesmerized by the beautiful blue crystal city full of Crystallis.

He looked up slowly and his eyes met the serpent's red glinting eyes who looked straight at Morvadeus's with its murderous gaze.

"It wants you," Cryunus said with a realization.

"You have a powerful bloodline that the serpent sensed, and it wants to devour you," he explained to him.

As their gazes met an ancient presence woke up deep inside Morvadeus.

An aura slowly surged from his body, scaring them. Morvadeus felt darkness from deep inside of him wanting to break out; it was mad that someone preyed on him.

A resounding roar of an ancient Draco shook his soul making him nearly unconscious. His eyes slowly turned black with a red glint in the centre.

As the ancient gaze looked straight into the serpent's eyes, the feeling of death looming over him.

'You dare to prey on this child? I will abolish your whole bloodline, and make your race bath in the blood of your own' a deep voice sounded in the serpent's mind, scaring him.

The serpent slowly backed up, his massive body uncoiling from the city's barrier.

'You're just a child, I will let you enjoy your peace for now, hiss-sss' he retreated with his tail between his legs and laid down.

It stayed behind the city gates, not fully backing up.

"Are you alright?"Cryduae worryingly asked.

Morvadeus woke up from it and answered.

"Yes, thank you for your concern. I don't know what happened."

His eyes turned back to normal, and now he could focus on the beauty of the Crystallis City.

Going forward they arrived at an altar closed from the outsiders.

Going through the altar they went straight into another massive cave.

In the centre of it a liquid core was floating, its power sending chills down on Morvadeus back.

"Morvadeus, this is our God. He wanted to speak with you, we will wait outside," they told him.

'Our God never spoke to me since my birth, but he invited Morvadeus.' Cryduae sighed.

'Morvadeus, who are you? Your origin is sending chills down my back.'

'First the serpent attacked, who got scared by a little child and now the God who even to us speaks rarely personally invited Morvadeus.' Cryunus pondered with his crystal hands tightened making cracking sounds.

First and foremost his duty was the guarding of their God and his race safety.

Around the Core different coloured, massive crystals were protruding. Trees canopy with crystal flowers bloomed.

Morvadeus respectfully gazed at the massive core and waited for him to speak.

Suddenly the trees twisted, creaking sounds echoed. The protruding crystals broke down on their own and they all floated together, until a shape of a God took form before Morvadeus.

His body, made from the dark purple bark of the trees, his head like a crystal canopy. His ancient gaze with his four eyes made of the blooming petals looked at Morvadeus.

Morvadeus looked at the amazing God before him, whose presence made breathing difficult.

He tried to bow towards it, to show respect.

But suddenly the God floated down before him, and gently held his shoulder while saying:

'Gods don't need to bow to one another'
