I turned around and headed straight for Haven’s residence. Edwin, still in his pajamas, chased after me, wondering what was happening. And so, I ended up barging into Haven’s place with Edwin, Genise, and Verdi in tow. 


As I burst through the door, Haven, his hair still damp from a shower, widened his eyes in surprise.


Verdi, who had attempted to robe me until the last moment, couldn't make it through the door and hesitated before backing off.


I rushed in and hugged Haven. Feeling his heartbeat through his bare chest, with only a shirt covering him, I felt relief wash over me.


Haven, unsure of what to do, froze and looked at Edwin and Genise as if silently asking for help.


Confused, the two of them shrugged or tilted their heads and joined in Haven's bewilderment. 


Haven was safe too. And he had no memory. Why? Why was I the only one who remembered? It wasn't me but these two who had made the deal with the moonbird before.
