High up on the mountain peak, the hot spring bubbled peacefully under the night sky. A few minutes passed in silence. Lune waded gracefully through the rising steam.
She closed the distance between them and leaned her arms against the rocky edge right next to Solomon, staring openly at his face.
She tilted her head back to look at the glowing celestial body hanging above them. "There is a very old legend about the moon," Lune whispered, letting her emerald eyes catch the starlight. "Have you ever heard of it?"
"The moon carries countless myths and folktales across the realms," Solomon replied, keeping his gaze fixed on the ripples in the pool. "I would have no idea which specific story you are talking about."
