They exchanged fire with the enemy, battling in the mecha trenches amidst the smoke of gunpowder.
A regiment, now only half remains. The infantry behind have charged up as well, using their bodies to fight against the Jiepeng Mecha. When portable missiles ran out, they used portable energy cannons. When the energy cannons were exhausted, they concentrated their gunfire on the joints of the enemy mecha's legs. Occasionally, someone would rush forward with bundled fusion hand grenades.
"Follow me!"
With red eyes, Lorne fiercely pulled the control lever and charged into the enemy formation at the forefront.
Behind him, hundreds of Chuckna Mecha followed desperately, ignoring the ferocious artillery fire from both flanks.
