_______________
He dropped from where he reclined, landing on his feet with not an ounce of said. Not even his breathing could be heard by Danzo when he enhanced his ears with chakra.
"Not yet?" Danzo actually smiled again at that.
"In the future, you'll have to die for Konoha," Daiki said, walking over to stand right in front of him, his posture completely relaxed, as if Danzo could never hope to be a threat to him despite being a kage level shinobi, "You'll have to be the scapegoat for when the truth comes out, so I can cement the loyalty of the Uchiha clan properly. Not like you can contest it, the fact the Orochimaru came to meet you, and you know of his little invasion plan, and haven't mobilized Root to do anything about it, makes you a traitor no matter your intentions. And this isn't the first time you've let Orochimaru meet you here since he went rogue."
So he even knew the full extent of Orochimaru's plans and their dealings? Once again, he had to commend the thought. Truly, how much did he know? How much had he discovered, and how much had he calculated for the future? And even the truth behind the Uchiha massacre?
Very well, if that was what was required for Konoha to reign supreme, then he would accept it with a smile.
"But not today?" Danzo asked, instead of denying anything.
"Not today," Daiki confirmed, "But I'm not like the old man. Anything, and anyone I decide is a threat to the Leaf Village will die. Feelings be damned. But yes, not today, your strength as an S-rank shinobi is still needed."
"I see." Danzo mused, and his smile widened. Truly, Hiruzen had chosen well to make this boy his successor.
He looked up into the boys eyes, "So you were informing me in advance, why?" he asked.
"To train a successor," Daiki told him bluntly, "Root is far too useful to be lost when I take your head. You have an agent called Sai, who's around my age. He will be the next leader of Root, train him to fill your shoes."
He'd even learned the individual names of his soldiers? Again, Danzo had to marvel at his ability to acquire knowledge without anyone the wiser for it.
"Very well, in that case," Danzo nodded, and stood from the seat he was on, making no attempt to hide his lack of need for a walking stick, or the fact that his disguise as a cripple was just that. This was not quite how he planned this to go, but he had prepared for the day he would pass on all he could to the boy, to make him even stronger. He reached into his robe and retrieved a small sealing scroll, "It would be remiss of me to pass on to the next life without leaving behind all I can to help the Leaf in the future."
"What's this then?" Daiki asked as he took the scroll.
"It contains the knowledge on my personal and most powerful wind jutsu, and the sealing contract scroll for my Baku summon," Danzo said, "Do as you will with it."
"Hoh?" Daiki smirked, "Well, I won't say no. But, it will not save your life. Your days are numbered, make sure you've done all you want to before your time is up." he all but ordered, truly like a Hokage. And then, without accepting any other words, or argument or anything, he cemented his word as law, and the clone sealed the scroll away, before dispelling.
Danzo stared at the spot where the clone of the Godaime Hokage was, in the middle of his ruined, destroyed office, and chuckled to himself, "Very well, Hokage-sama." he said quietly, to himself.

'Hmm?' Daiki blinked as the memory of his clone returned to him. Well, that was interesting. Danzo was a lot more accepting than he thought he'd be.
Then again, for all he was a complete and utter fool when it came to what he thought was the best for the Leaf, it could not be said he did not apply the same dogma to himself. He would die for the Leaf with a smile on his face if he truly thought it would help with the village.
To think he'd hand over his wind jutsu and summon clan contract to him? That, he hadn't expected. He had no idea who he'd give the Baku summon to though, but those wind jutsu he'd make sure to learn later.
He was broken from his thoughts by Naruto's excited shout, "Sasuke, you made it!" he cheered.
Daiki blinked, and looked behind him and lo' and behold, there was Sasuke walking into the arena behind them from the back entrance, hands in his pockets. He'd changed his outfit too, switching out for a black version of his usual high collared shirt, and a pair of black shorts, similar but different than the one piece version he'd worn in the other timeline.
Something he hadn't expected, was the lack of bandages or arm braces, instead he we wore his usual arm warmers, but had bandages around his lower legs, with bands just above his ankles and just below his knees.
Interesting. In the other time line, he'd needed those braces for his arm to be able to actual control the force of the Chidori without it messing up his arm. Though looking at him, he noticed Sasuke's arms and legs had definitely bulked up a little bit in the last month.
Sasuke looked at Naruto as he got close, taking in his changed outfit with a raised brow, before glancing at Daiki and smirking, "You didn't think I'd miss out on kicking your ass now, did you?" he asked cockily.
And it wasn't just directed at Naruto.
Naruto laughed, "We'll see, you're gonna be real surprised at how far I've come Sasuke." he puffed his chest out.
Sasuke said nothing beyond smirking wider and standing beside him in line. 'Well now, isn't that a surprise,' Daiki thought, 'This is good, I can use this.'
Sasuke was actually on time?
Well, that was good, for more than one reason. He needed to lay the ground work for why he suddenly had the Sharingan as well without Sasuke freaking out.
This gave him the time he needed.
