"Let's hang around here for a while," Aito said, gesturing toward a balcony.
The place was surprisingly peaceful, a stark contrast to the crowded, noisy hall downstairs. The air was cool against their skin, free from the stuffiness of the ballroom, and the gentle breeze carried the distant sounds of the city below.
A crescent moon hung in the sky, surrounded by scattered stars that twinkled faintly in the distance. A single couch stood against the wall, offering a place for guests to sit and relax away from the noise and bustle of the party.
Haruto stared at the couch for a moment. It wasn't what he had in mind. He had hoped Aito would take them to his room and he'd use the chance to steal a few kisses before taking him away forever but before he could suggest another place, Aito tugged at his arm. "Come on. Let's sit and talk. It's been so long since we've done that."
Haruto's heart softened instantly. How could he possibly say no to Aito?
