Niles under the gazes of everyone walked up in front of everyone waiting on him and then finally spoke while amplifying his voice for all to hear.
" Everyone I am proud of our progress over this time and we are making great strides, our kilns have been made and now we have furnaces for metal work and other miscellaneous tasks, we even have building materials which are abundant"
" With these we are on the path to create a home for us but the situation is not favorable to us right now"
What was said now caused some murmurs as they were happy in the beginning but now they looked worried hoping therewasn't any dire news to come.
Niles then continued on " The reason I say this is not because we can't do it but the manpower is too small we need more people to join us to speed up the progress as long as it is done we will be able shorten our time in construction and our dreams with sprout quicker"
Someone then questioned " My lord if we recruit people they will enslave us they will never work with us ,they'll definetly use us as tools"
" I never said regular people did I, the information I have received from miss Karisa has given us an better option than to rely on others that are scornful of us"
Niles then gestured for her to come on Stage and as Karisa made her way up you could see how nervous she was being stared at by the large crowd. Niles whispered to her "Just take a deep breath and say everything you want to say to them"
She then took a deep breath then spoke " We need to recruit others like us and the only place they are located are in other settlements"
Everyone was murmuring and displayed their thoughts on their faces and Karisa continued speaking resolutely although there was some shakiness in her voice
" Many might think this might not be a good Idea as this could cause internal strife but as I see it this might be our only chance to be apart of something instead of running away hiding in the crevices of the world until we drop dead on the ground"
" As long as we are afraid they will be no progress as I will be going their as well to recruit them under the banner of serving our lord they will finally see a way to change their fate. We could grow and work together to become a great empire with no fear and head held high ,hearts strong filled with resolutuion for the betterment of those around us"
Everyone shouted and roared with such an aspiring speech which even made some tear up from what Niles could see.
" Yes we need to do this "
" They will join us to become an empire"
" We will grow under our lord "
" So I need people who will be with me in the journey as it will take 3 days to and from in total 6 days to recruit as many people as possible" Karisa then made her final statement to the crowd and looked out of breath but Nile was happy seeing the growth from their weary and dull eyes when he arrived to people who will challenge their fate.
" Yes, that is why we will need 15 volunteers to go and lead them here. Those who want a chance to make a difference should come the more the better" Niles then replied to them all and they looked enthusiastic. This was a mission given to them in order to develop themselves.
The young men and women were especially enthusiastic and the spaces were quickly filled up by them.
You could see them oosing with enthusiasm to go out and contribute to have a better life for themseoves and their family members.
Niles made sure to choose those who are physically fit and made sure to scan them in case of abnormalities or any ailments .
Among those chosen were 4 adult men, 4 teenage boys and the rest were two women and teenage girls.
You could see the family members conversing between each other worried that they shouldn't go on the trip but you could see the resolution in their eyes.
The men may have been wondering why there are so many females on the trip, it's because I don't discriminate. Women can be strong too and can't always be protected plus it's good to have experience for future excursions.
With that over the night ended while everyone went to bed some probably eager what the next day had in store Nile was preparing eight different seeds for the farming sector and with his newly found knowledge on how his divinities work he was able to form essence of the sun and moon to use to make two plants relating to it as well as ideas from plants from the original earth I am from.
With the simulation going on for hours and countless errors,malformations and even weird mutations resulting in combustion of plants Niles was finally able to get the seeds ready for the preparation for the farming industry or the start of said farming industry to be ready for the massive intake of people that may be coming.
Out of everthing he's learnt in his world in the past is that no food equals no development, after all through all eras when the most basic need of food water and clothing couldn't be met it halted development.
So overall the reasons our world was able to develop to the point where we could fly acroos the seas , sail massive ships made from iron and even build towers that defy human imagination.
True but unsung heroes were from the ground up farmers who figured out how to plant food, to what environment they grow in to even breeding them to get crops suitable for human consumption
Lets not forget the animals they raised and all their know how on raising them taking care of them and treating ailments to even breeding them to produce better tasting meat.
" In all honesty my divine powers have been raising with the upstream of development without this it would be difficult to make these crop seeds, atleast they are for our empire which will only benefit us until we are ready for trade, but only till we are strong enough to defend ourselves from those with nefarious thoughts" Niles was talking to himself while holding 8 different seeds which were called: Sun Wheat, Splash Tomato, Energy Potatoes, Emerald Lettuce, Rabbit eared carrot, Solar Pear and finally what was needed for the clothing industry Lunar Silk Cotton and Winter Hemp.
It may have looked like 3 hours outside but to me using the simulator it was three days just to manipulate the genes to create plants that were over nutritious plus the Lunar Silk Cotton and Winter Hemp will help in the production of clothes as making these now can avoid them wearing those torn up dirty rags and I can introduce machines to them in about before the six days are up which can speed things up.
After that Niles was actually finally exhausted and went to sleep and was then awoken by a knock on the door early in the morning.
