'So basically it's what I'm good at ?' Niles asked puzzled
(In terms yes but more of what you represent as a god such as someone having a fire divinity will have great control over fire and the laws of such and over time your divinity grows with you and changes with you)
' Does that mean because of the constant intake of Faith Energy it's changing me' Niles asked again with a worried look on his face
( You don't have to worry host they don't change your personality but enhance it and no it not because of faith energy the villagers produce it's do to you exercising your divinity by using them actively)
(When you create items such as those axes, wheel burrows and even shovels it stimulates your divinity of technology I'm sure you felt yourself being more creative as this is a trait from your divinity and will even enhance your love of doing actions related to it and even you creation of me is apart of this ability)
(Creating those plants stimulated your biological divinity as you are becoming more proficient in creating new breeds of plant life and even manipulating them on a genetic to suit your purposes but not to the point where you can create something you desire without understanding the mechanics of it)
(Finally those two divinities Sun and Moon you may have not noticed but you have been unconsciously absorbing the rays brought by them which cause you not to notice your fatigue is fading quicker than normal)
' Oh so that's it you really know a lot I was worried there' Niles let out a breath of relief
( It was mentioned in the guide book made by the divine you know that right, you should read more of it so you can be worried about everything) Nuera said this with a mocking tone that Niles completely forgot about reading into the guide again
' Ahh, sorry about that I was so preoccupied I'll read it later, promise' Niles sweated feeling that if this isn't done Nuera will give him a scolding which is well deserved about not reading the valuable information.
' Alright let's deal with that later the forge and kilns will be set in 2 days for maximum structural support. The next thing now is a steady source of water, food and materials' Niles was thinking about the things he needed until a sudden thought popped up.
' Where do they get water from anyway, I didn't see a well neither is their a source of water nearby other than the river that's far out'
During this time people were still celebrating due to the construction of the kiln if only they knew this wouldn't be surprising to them in the future.
" Hey Loren come over here for a sec" Niles called over a random villager that was celebrating. Niles knew him because he gets acquainted with all the villagers and knowing their name is easy with my intelligence, especially this person who is almost the same age as him now.
Loren quickly came over suprised by me calling him " Yes my lord you called"
Niles quickly replied " How do you get your water by the way isn't the river too far from the village "
" Oh my Lord it is a good journey away and we do go there to get water, as well as use rain water when we can but it rarely rains so we do what we can" Loren replied with a smile
" Well that will be solved soon at least you guys boiled the water right" Nile sighed but excited to get to build another thing to solve the problem.
" Ah, my Lord that's great but we only have rainwater for now and boiling water why would we do that if the water isn't dirty" Loren asked with a confused face
Niles was shocked " Don't you guys know that germs in non-purified water can cause you to get sick. It could even cause an epidemic, call the village chief now and tell him to boil all the water now for 2 minutes before using it" Niles said in a frenzy
Loren led the Village chief over and Nile sexplained what was happening. The feast was suddenly stopped after hearing the news and everyone including Niles joined to sort out the situation. Everyone looked embarrassed at my scolding of them for not taking proper measures for hygienics.
Heck can they be blamed this is a mixed magical world with medival era added towards it, but this how how plagues start heck even dysentery you could imagine that they get sick often just from this alone even not washing their hands could lead to many diseases.
Niles sighed as he knew he avoided a disaster that could affect everything and now could focus on the plans he had for the village especially forming a farming industry would be his next task but he needed more people, not just more as much as I could get, as when he calculated the size of the village it could hold 50,000 people as long as there was enough proper housing.
It was from this realization of the size that this meant was that over the generations the village declined to 600 but now he needed more people more than ever so he had to recruit people but not just any people like the villagers who wanted a chance as any others with bad intentions could jepordise everything.
Niles realized the problem even if he trained these people it was not enough to build an empire and waiting slows down progress. We need quality and quantity.
" How do we get more people how am I supposed to find more people" Niles sighed talking to himself until a villager named Kirisa which was about 18, had brown hair and violet eyes she looked like a perfect woman only that she needed to eat more and she would be a someone men ran up to. She then said
" If you want more people my lord we can get them from other settlements their probably millions of settlements like us over the years that are like us scattered" Niles smiled looks like she overheard me talking to myself.
Niles was intrigued by the Kirisa's info and then she continued " We usually traded at a hidden place with supplies from different settlements to survive every year at a certain time some villagers chose to leave this settlement to go to larger ones with more abundant food but as the hunting had gotten increasingly larger over the years some may have perished and some settlements wiped away"
" But my lord with you here we have a chance to flourish and it would be easy to convince them if we said there is a god to shelter us among the settlements, they would flock toward us larger ones would be hard to convince but medium and small settlements would definitely take the chance for an opportunity to fight for a better lifestyle"
Niles was extremely happy with the plan she mentioned and replied " That's good but how do you know all this"
She then replied " My dad was apart of the trading group that managed our resources and taught me these things, on the same topic he was taught to him by my grandpa they said they always wanted to be merchants it's their dream and even I wanted to become one too"
Niles then replied " Then where is he now ?"
Kirisa faced frowned and almost teared up while saying " He was caught in a beast attack some of the trading group survived with major wounds as now some succumbed to them while some were healed due to your presence the trading group disbanded since we can't lose more members and would probably have to up the foraging this year if you hadn't come Lord"
Niles had a sorry expression bringing up back these memories or her and told her " Then since you inherited all that they taught you will be the new head of the trading group and tell the chief to call everyone to the square again"
Kirisa looked at Niles shocked but saw his smile and was reminded of her father and grandfather and they said ' You need the confidence to smile even on the losing end, as to win in the end that's our motto'
Kirisa then ran to alert the village chief while Kar went around telling everyone to meet at the square for an announment that was to be made by Niles.
" Welp I need to prepare as well" Niles said while getting up from his seat heading to the square under the villagers gaze. He was resolute in trying to multitask and to obtain more people as the only resource that was lacking was human resources and if Kirisa can help he would do as uch in his power to support her.
