Puente Antiguo – Clash of Thunder and Flame

The moment Jack caught the hammer—

His entire body trembled.

It felt as if he had just lifted a mountain.

A crushing, immeasurable weight surged through his arm, spreading instantly across his entire body. The power contained within the hammer was not something ordinary beings could withstand. It was ancient, divine—wild and uncontrollable.

Thunder and lightning erupted from the hammer violently.

Electric arcs coiled around Jack's arm like living serpents, crackling with deafening intensity. The air was filled with sharp, grating sounds as currents of electricity tore through the atmosphere.

"Ah—!"

Jack let out a low roar, his muscles tightening as he forced himself to hold onto the hammer.

For a brief moment, even he felt the pressure.

---

"Useless!"

Thor's voice cut through the chaos.

With a burst of speed, Thor charged forward and slammed directly into Jack. Both of his hands grabbed the hammer, forcing it downward with overwhelming strength.

BOOM!

The ground shattered beneath them.

Layer after layer of earth collapsed as the force pressed downward, forming a massive crater. Dust exploded into the air, rising in thick waves that obscured everything.

Within seconds, a giant pit appeared.

---

Inside the crater—

Jack stood slowly.

A thin line of blood trailed from the corner of his mouth.

He wiped it casually.

"Very strong power…"

A faint smile appeared.

"Interesting."

---

"Jack!" Thor shouted, gripping the hammer tightly.

"Return the power of the God of Thunder that you stole!"

"I will spare your life!"

Jack looked at him calmly.

"Spare me?"

His lips curved slightly.

"You think you have that ability?"

---

In the next instant—

Jack's pupils changed.

Three sharp wind-blade patterns formed within his eyes.

A terrifying wave of thought power erupted.

It slammed directly into Thor.

"Ah—!"

Thor roared in pain.

His body was thrown backward violently, crashing into a stone pillar. The pillar collapsed instantly under the impact, sending debris flying everywhere.

Thor rolled across the ground several times before finally stopping.

---

Jack slowly rose into the air.

In front of him, flames began to gather.

At first, it was just a flicker—

Then it grew.

And grew.

Until a massive fireball, nearly five meters in diameter, formed in front of him.

The heat distorted the air.

The flames roared like a living beast.

---

"Such power…" Fandral muttered as he struggled to stand.

His face was pale with shock.

"Is he really just a human?"

Darcy stared wide-eyed.

"So this is why Jack terrifies the world…"

"That guy… he's not even human."

Pepper's voice was cold.

"He's not human."

"He's scum."

---

Jane watched everything.

Her eyes reflected the blazing fire and lightning.

Despite everything—

A strange feeling stirred inside her.

He can actually fight a god…

There was disbelief.

But also—

A faint trace of awe.

---

Thor stood up again.

Pain flashed across his face, but his grip on the hammer remained firm.

Lightning began to gather once more.

The sky above darkened as thunder rolled.

---

Jack pushed both hands forward.

The fireball surged ahead.

A blazing sphere of destruction.

"Ah—!"

Thor roared.

He swung the hammer forward.

A massive bolt of lightning shot out.

---

BOOM!!!

The fire and lightning collided.

The explosion was instant.

Blinding light engulfed everything.

Flames and electric currents burst outward simultaneously, forming a devastating shockwave that swept across the entire area.

---

RUMBLE—!

Buildings collapsed.

The ground cracked open.

Everything in the path of the shockwave was destroyed.

---

Jack was thrown backward by the force.

His body slammed into the ground, rolling several times before stopping.

---

Slowly—

The chaos subsided.

A massive crater, over thirty meters wide, had formed.

Smoke rose thickly from the ground.

---

Thor lay on the ground.

He pushed himself up slowly.

"Hateful…"

His pride had been struck.

To be pushed this far—

By a human.

---

Jack stood up as well.

He looked at Thor calmly.

"That's enough for today."

"Let's continue next time."

---

"Do you think you can escape?" Thor shouted.

Jack smiled.

"Escape?"

"You misunderstand."

He tilted his head slightly.

"I just thought of something… interesting."

---

In the next moment—

Jack vanished.

---

He reappeared six or seven meters in front of Jane and Pepper.

---

Erik immediately stepped forward, standing in front of Jane.

"You—don't come any closer!"

"I… I'm not afraid of you!"

Jack smiled faintly.

"There's no need to be nervous."

"With my power…"

"If I wanted to harm you, could you stop me?"

---

Jane looked directly at him.

"Jack…"

Her voice was steady.

"Do you think I hate you for deceiving me?"

Jack smiled.

"Do you?"

Jane clenched her teeth.

"I hate you."

"I hate you more than anything."

Her emotions were complicated.

Anger.

Pain.

Confusion.

All mixed together.

---

Jack nodded.

"I came here to say something."

"I thought we could talk."

He turned slightly toward Pepper.

"You're free now."

"Do whatever you want."

---

He waved his hand.

A faint green light flashed across Pepper's face.

Her original appearance returned.

---

Pepper froze.

"You're… letting me go?"

Jack nodded casually.

"Consider it a vacation."

"But remember—"

"If anything happens between you and Tony…"

His smile turned dangerous.

"I'll make sure you understand what true disaster means."

---

"You're threatening me?"

"Yes."

"You can try me."

---

"Hateful…"

---

Jane stepped forward slightly.

"Where are you going?"

Jack looked at the sky.

"That's a secret."

---

"Jack!" Thor roared as he charged toward him.

---

Jack smiled faintly.

"Until next time."

---

His figure vanished.

Gone completely.

---

Thor stopped abruptly.

His face twisted with anger.

"Jack!"

"Come out and face me!"

---

Silence.

---

Jane turned toward Pepper.

"He's gone…"

"You're free now."

---

Pepper looked down slightly.

"He'll come back."

Her voice was quiet.

"But I never want to see him again."

Her emotions were conflicted.

Freedom should feel good.

But somehow—

It didn't.

---

"You really think that?" Jane asked softly.

Pepper looked at her coldly.

"I'm not like you."

"You can actually develop feelings for someone like him."

---

"I never said I had feelings for him!" Jane snapped.

"Don't project your thoughts onto me!"

---

Sif ran toward Thor.

"Thor, we can't stay here any longer."

"We need to leave."

---

Thor nodded reluctantly.

"I understand."

---

Jane looked at him.

"You're leaving?"

---

"Yes."

Thor looked at her.

"Thank you… for everything."

"If fate allows…"

"We will meet again."

---

"Volstagg, Fandral, Hogun, Sif—let's go."

---

Thor flew into the sky.

---

Sif paused briefly.

She picked up the broken piece of her sword.

She didn't notice—

Something about it had changed.

The color.

The texture.

The weight.

---

Nearby—

Another broken fragment of the blade lay quietly.

---

Sif quickly put the piece away and followed the others.

---

Jane stood there, looking at the ruined town.

Everything was in chaos.

---

"They're gone…"

She sighed.

"What a mess…"

---

In the distance—

S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicles approached.

---

Jane gave a helpless smile.

"Look…"

"They're finally here."

"Right on time."

---

"It seems…"

"We're about to be invited for tea."

---

The desert wind blew once more.

Carrying dust.

And silence.
