The death of Han Sen... Honestly, despite losing the railroad track that was canon to follow. I actually didn't 'need' Han Sen in any way actually.
His so-called pitiful family also wasn't so pitiful either. Sure his in-law's were scum still for sure. But his 'weak and defenseless mother' Yeah she was part of one of the most powerful human families in the universe. Sure, his younger sister may suffer for a bit while his mother waits to see if he comes back for a while.
But with his father dead as far as I know. All his mother had to do was make a phone call to be accepted back into her family.
Either way, with the help of Woody. The Wood Eating Buffalo as my mount, I got back to the Shelter without any major issue... Like running into that scary as fuck Super ranked tiger that was apprently now hunting humans because I made the mistake of feeding it and now it probably thought all humans would feed it if it approached them.
The few animals and insects I did kill on the way, I ate when I got back to the Black Steel Shelter, gaining a good twenty Ordinary and Primitive Geno points and actually filling them up completely at that point.
Alongside a grand total of literally... Five Mutant geno points but I coudn't complain.
"Ok actually I am complaining... I got Ordinary and Primitive maxed out. Now I need to find a source of mutant flesh to fill out the last forty odd Mutant geno points I need." I mused before I highlighted on another major issue.
I was still majorly lacking in all Sacred Blood Geno points. I hadn't gotten any in fact. So I really needed to lock in and find some Sacred Blood tier creatures to hunt.
"Alright, time to get back to reality. I need to check my phone and see if Yang Manli my contact with my group or the leader Qin Xuan sent anything I needed to look through." I muttered to myself before I got up and then headed out of the Sanctuary through the Shelter's teleporter.
From there, I got onto a train that would bring me to that gym I had been going to that had gene warrior training methods as I needed to step up my training and martial arts training regardless of my present body's condition.
And on the way I was reading the couple dozen emails and messages I had. Three of them were from Mio Naruse one of the three red headed super titty red heads I escorted through the Sanctuary. With her emails being mostly just chit chat messages until the last one where she asked more bluntly if I was willing to take her with me into the Sanctuary to hunt.
After a moment of thought, I messaged her back and sent. [Sure, if you can. Try to look up any information you can find on Mutant tier creatures in the surrounding area. I am looking to max out my mutant geno points.]
Mio Narus,e after all came from a rich family, she had better access to information in the Sanctuary that I coudn't even get to with my simple common status.
So if she was able to get me the information I wanted in Mutant Geno monsters, we could hunt, I had no problem sharing my hunt with her.
In either case, I refocused as the next few emails were more general emails about things like my rent, utilities, and other such.
But then the final notable message was from Yang Manli herself. [Jake, you going to be free in three days? Qin Xuan and I are leading an expedition on the fourth day to hunt down a few Sacred Blood creatures and I thought to offer you a slot in the team.]
Seeing that message, I obviously quickly messaged back. [Yes, I will be free in three days. I have maxed out my Ordinary, Primitive, and have more than halfway filled out my Mutated geno points. So I won't drag the team down.]
And a few minutes later, as I was walking into the gym, I got several bleeps of messages from Yang Manli texting me frantically.
[????]
[You have only been in the Sanctuary for a couple of weeks!? What the hell are you doing gaining Geno points so fast????]
First I texted back.
[Skill issue.]
To fuck with the beautiful woman for my own enjoyment and then I messaged back more bluntly. [Harvesting large amounts of diverse fish in the Ordinary and Primitive tier is easy. The only issue is the scarier monsters you wake up in mass harvesting water sources.]
A couple of minutes later, after I signed in and changed into some workout clothes and rented the dodging training room, I got another message from her that made my face twitch. [Mio, Rias, and Runeas said similar things... But you also got attacked by several mutant tier water creatures and got the attention of that damned tiger.]
I was silent for a moment, then I sighed and messaged back as I realized I should be more open to my group. [Speaking of that tiger... I saw it get Han Sen, he is dead and that tiger is extremely, extremely dangerous as it tore apart Han Sen's Sacred Blood tier armor he had.]
There was a pause before Yang Manli messaged back. [Thank you for the warning, Jake. I will look into Han Sen's file to report his status then. Did you collect any remains of him?]
I simply messaged that I couldn't and then I blinked as she messaged back after I put on some fingerless boxing gloves as I had set the balls to be shot at me to be harder solid rubber balls.
[Could you come with me to tell his mother and sister of his death? Having you there would make it much easier.]
I stared at the message before I sighed and grumbled to myself. "Fine... I can do this at least to sever any karma I have in stealing that shit heels cheats and whatever!"
So I messaged her a yes and asked for a time before adding on that I was getting to my training and would message back in a few hours.
With that, I turned on the ball shooting machine at a higher level due to me having maxed out my Primitive and Ordinary Geno points. It was time for me to truly practise my Armament Haki and Garp's martial arts while also practicing my Observation Haki!
