Before the human king's ball...
In the throne room of a hidden kingdom,a meeting was taking place.The vampire king is having a meeting with his family.
The king gave birth to six children,3 from his mate,2 sons from his first concubine (Ruth) and the last son from his favourite concubine (Aurora),his love.
Sitted on the golden throne is king Dracula Lived and on his right hand is his real mate,Slyvia Lived and her beautiful twin daughters (Geyra&Grace).The vampire queen gave birth to three children,Ephraim being the first son and the first prince of the defective king in rank since his mother is the current queen of the vampires.
On the king's left side are his concubines with their children and of course,Aurora being the king's favourite sitted closest to him.The only missing person from the family was the first prince,Ephraim.
"Slyvia,where is your rebellious son? Did he not hear about the family meeting I called?" The king demands.
"Your majesty,he has sent a notice to be late for the meeting because of the dispute between some witches and vampires in the black market" the Queen replied her husband.
Hmmmphhhhhhhhhhh,the second concubine Aurora scoffs before standing up.
"Pardon my rudeness your majesty but I think he should be here no matter how busy he is,it is not like the other three princes are jobless but still they are here because they honour and respect you".
The twin princesses threw threatening glares at the favourite woman of their defective father for trying to badmouth their brother.
King Dracula was nicknamed the defective king because he was the ever first vampire to not fall in love with his mate when nature made it so that when a vampire meets his mate,he would not have the eyes for another woman but his mate and that mate will become the love of his life.Their father is different,he became defective because he went against the law of nature which brings love to true mates.
The other princes decide to just watch their father till the meeting finishes.The second prince was named Rapheal,the third prince Ares and the fourth which belongs to the woman he love,Joel.No doubt about it,prince Joel became his favorite son since his mother is the vampire's king true love and he is the only son that received the father's love,care and attention.
"Let us discussion something else before the first prince is here,the floor is open for discussion" came the montonous voice of the king as his gaze sweeps over his family.
Since the first prince is absent,it is only necessary for the next in line to the throne to speak,so Raphael had no choice but to speak.He stood up and curtised before talking.
"Long live father.It has come to my notice that you have given over half of your imperial army to Joel the last prince,is it true?"
"Father I heard you are looking for mates for my sisters,can we help with that? They have no use loitering around the palace" the third prince Ares jumps in.
Aurora eyes,the Queen's and that of the princesses harden at the prince brothers for talking about them instead of the prosperity of the kingdom.Aurora quickly stood to change the subject of discussion before it gets too late.
"My king,I think it is indeed a good time to get the princesses married.They are eighteen already which is the marriage age for female vampires.Do not forget that you made the law after getting to the throne that all female vampires must be married before they attain age twenty because of the slow rate of finding true mates and low birth rate" She quotes the King.
The sisters begin to argue and complain thereby sweeping off the complaint Raphael made of the king giving the imperial army to the fourth prince .

The king roared and coming along with the silence that fell upon the room is the approaching steps of the first prince,Ephraim Lived.
